Wow the cars really coming on. Your welding looks awesome. Wish I could so that!far as your hunting goes, I've had that problem before and it unexpectedly turned out to be throttle position sensor causing problem. That's the only insight I can add.

its normal to get a little oil come through but not a lot. usually the vapour go just goes back through the intake and you get a lil oil in the intake tube.- 3,767 replies

if it feels good i wouldnt worry. most civics i have drove have a really low biting point and it feels horrible! i spent alot of money getting mine back up high!... new clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder, realease bearing, realease arm and even the little ball that it sits on

wow you always impress me with your goodies! so is that a dc2 mani? big improvement over the ebay 2.5". awesome stuff here!

the dizzys are the same just some have one plug and some have two. if you got the wrong one you can solder old plug to new dizzy as i have done this. if you compare one plug to the two, they are same lay out, so just cut and solder. the dizzy i am running now i did this way and it works fine.

cool. this will be a nice project for you. doing it right by the sounds of things too.

do the pads fit well in the front calipers? and have you got the thin metal shims installed with the pad? you can get all sorts of strange noises from the brakes without the shims and with ill fitting pads.

loving the sticker dude!

They are awkward to bleed. Bit if the cars been driven then it will push the air up into the expansion tank eventually. so doubt its air. but then again. I suppose you need to investigate simple things first though.

They are seriously my favourite ever wheels on an mb. look stunning dude!

In that case again its pointing to head gasket failure. Head gaskets can go with various symptoms depending on where its ruptured

ooya exciting times. what could it be?

if youve checked everything. has the car had the water pump changed ever? although they are usually a reliable part its possible the vanes on the impeller have worn and not circulating properly. obviously the engine produces more heat under heavy load or high rpms. not changing the coolant for a long period of time, or just using water alone in the cooling sytem can cause premature wear on the components and corrosion which can narrow water ways etc.

just looking back what you said about your rear springs... the tops should taper off flat to sit in the top mount and the bottoms have the coil come all the way round and sits in the little slot on the damper. hope that helps a little.

This car is super cool! Sooo you gonna sell me your old wheels then?
-
Kinda thaught as much. That's definately where the play is. Just a slight bit before it actually starts to turn the wheels oh well I can live with it its been like this since I owned the car and its not bad and never got any worse. thanks naz
-
right i have noticed a small amount of play in the steering for some time although not too bad i thaught maybe investigate putting it back to normal. it seems to me that there is movement on the inner rod end at the rack. thing is i cannot find a replacement part for our cars and the workshop manual says nothing about replacement. so question is has anyone got any info about replacing the inner rod end on our MA/B/Cs???? can it be done or have they been awkward and its a new rack job? thanks. jake

nothing fancy on the colum, no switches. reason ive ended up here though is i also have a bit of slop in the streering. think ive tracked mine down to inner rod ends. good luck sorting yours.
