yay, the inward rolled tip hasn't grown on me, and i don't like the slash cut or jap can style, so outward rolled tip it is...
-
The exhaust is just shy of 300 and God knows what the rest is gonna cost me! Lol

Right work won't allow personal parcel to be delivered to Work, they did say if it was one and a one off it be ok, but got bits comming from every where, so the plan is to order stuff Monday/Tuesday next week, let them drop a "failed delivery" cards through the door. And pick every thing up next Friday. As for r the exhaust, its booked in a week on Friday to replace from the cat back, going for the same style as before but with a outward rolled tip

What's happened is that the stainless steel exhaust is mounted on the old mild steel mid section to cat flange, that's rotted out and given up, Ear bleeding noise, unless your at 2500-3000 rpm, or in VTEC.. Then it screams nicely...
-
Err an emergency bodge was required as the cat was catching on the floor

Cheers for your support, and the exhaust is on the priority list now....
-

i knew the boot was split, that's all it failed on, the mot garage replaced the boot, a few week's later the boot came off on the c.v joint, i spotted it, took it back they fixed it FOC and that was that, few week's before japfest it started knocking, but time wasn't on my side...

well drive shaft was caused by the mot failure, they fixed it, but the c.v boot they fitted came a few weeks's later they repaired it FOC and it started knocking a few week's before japfest..... exhaust, it's a stainless steel cat back fitted by the previous owner, it devloped a rattle a few months ago, so been looking for a replacement. but today i scraped a speed bump, and a few miles later i noticed it blowing. need to remember to ask work if i can have the parcel's dropped off there, as i can't guarantee any one being at home....

to be honest, i really feel like selling up, it's got to the point where i'm questioning why do i seem to be flogging a dead horse. but to sell it i need to get it sorted. and i don't seem to have the time at the moment. i think the plan is to see if i can use the workshop saturday, and hit the car hard, but i do need to look at where the exhaust is blowing. it seem to be the front, from the sound it seem's to be after the cat, as it's a smooth blow (constant humming). so for a proper list need to look at the exhaust. front disk's and pads, rear pad's. o/s drive shaft. oil and filter for later, compressor bracket fuel filter spark plugs pollen filter a/c belt

200 for brakes sounds ok. Was thinking J+R for the driveshaft. Was gonna see what I could do for the service kit locally, and Im gonna see what the breakers could do for the bracket
-
most likely, gonna see what honda want to do, on a closer look the compressor bracket, is also an engine mount as well, at least i have spending money left from my holiday..... so need to price up, disk's and pad's allround. o/s drive shaft service kit (bar air filter, that got done last service) compressor bracket a/c belt looking a brake's, what do people recommend and price's of said part's.....

this is one awesome deck, if it's done, will it be doing japfest?
-
same here, if i were to respray the deck, it would be dakota bronze, it look's beautiful
-
yeah was hoping to hit some before japfest, but the honda bill paid to that......
-
really fooked off with it at the moment, really have got bloody good list to do. drive shaft, service, brakes, and now this....
-
look's like the bolt has sheared flush, so it's gonna be PAS pump off, A/C pump off, new compressor bracket required, and new belt as i had no choice other than to cut the belt off.....
-
my a/c pump is ok, as it has been working damn well the past few week's....
-
on a closer look, the bolt that hold's it to the aircon bracket has snapped....
-
guess who's gonna be paying a visit to honda on tuesday...... not happy....
