i'm not very knowledgeable on honda box's, i think the S9B final drive (diff) should go in to S80, but i'd do some digging, civic life would be a good bet for the information... but, if i were in your situation, i'd get the box, and strip it, see what actual is wrong. replace anything that's worn/broken. and then rebuild...

honestly don't know, there's 2 way's to look at it, 1, it's knackered, so it's worth scrap value, so 20/30 quid. 2, what's it worth to you, it's a very desirable gearbox because it doesn't drop you out of vtec unlike the S9B, so people want them... i think a good proven S80 box is about 3-400 quid, but that i wouldn't want to pay anymore than 150/200, 250 top's...

woohoo, a rear chassis brace lover, i've found all sort's of uses for mine, towing trailer's, and dead orion's after the lad washed the engine bay too well and blew a multi plug apart......

Bloody hell, 5 1/2 hrs, I can do a 3 axle reline on trailer and have time to spare...Oh I think it only took me 1/2 hr to replace the rear pads on the 'deck and that was with a sticking slider to free off as well
