bollox to it, the speedo on the m has see 150mph, that was scary, but not as scary as what i've seen in a van...
-
Lol I said I don't often do those speeds I didn't say I didn't go beyond those speeds.....
-
Why thank you, and to be honest I very rarely do those speeds....
-
60mph in the work van, and 70mph in the car lol
-
bloody hell, at least your ok. hopefully you'll be back on your feet very soon.
-
that is awsome, i do hope this is making an appearance at japfest as i'd love to see this in the flesh,
-
it come such a long way to end like it has is devastating. was looking forward to see this at japfest. are you still gonna turn up to japfest?
-
check all the wheel bearing, and also check how the inside of the tyre's have worn, as if they have stepped it can create a droning noise, like what we're hearing..

bloody hell, that a dissapointment, park it next to mine at japfest, that will make you feel a lot better...
-
that's some good luck with the head mechanic, my water pump has just been replaced at 170000 mile's and 14yrs old, due to the seal weeping, the bearing is spot on.
-
yeah, the auxiliary belt were well past it. so glad there changed. all i can say is; if you do want honda to do your cambelt, get a water pump from tegiwa, and if it does need it, it's not a 2day wait to get one from belgium.
-
yeah first of all this is what i've got to deal with next weekend to prep for japfest... and the cause of a lost weekend, that bastard waterpump, the pump is ok, it's the seal that let go. it's done now, so good for another 14yrs/170000 miles and the breakdown of the bill.... operation 1, replace cambelt, 174.99 cambelt, 38.33 lab, 136.66 operation 2, replace all auxiliary belt's, 150.01 belt's @ 41.67 ea no lab operation 3, replace waterpump, 164.53 lab, 34.49 water pump, 113.54 honda coolant, 16.50 total, 464.53 vat, 92.91 total 557.44 yep, in hind sight should of gone to an independent, but sshit happen's, and well it's done now.... they did lop some labour off for the water pump and the coolant has been changed aswell, and i also a liter of coolant left in the car aswell.
-
And a few other bits will put the full summary up later
-
Just been and paid the bill, not much change out of £560, and it hasn't even been washed,
-
nope, certianly having second thought's about using them again.....
-
well still no car, but to my suprise, work have arranged for me to take the work van home. so that solve's getting lift's in to work, hopefully i'll have it back tommorow. it'll be nice to get her back, 4 day's after it should of been back... i wonder if they have washed it for me?
-

-
yeah, tell me about it, i wanted to get mine all cleaned up this weekend, but the car decided it fancied a weekend stay at the local honda dealer.....

yeah i know what your all saying, what make's it worse is that the waterpump is special order from belgium, and i had it booked in on a friday, they are saying the pump should be there tuesday, but hoping monday. they keep d-series pump's in as there in fairly regular, but mine is the first b-series in this year and certainly a long time to be fair, i should of had the belt changed when i got the car but i never got round to it. at least i'm not writing this after the belt has snapped/jumped cos of the waterpump and fooked the engine up...
