Makes sense! I'm guessing the D has had much TLC and goodies then!

Awesome list of stuff, one thing that's got my attention are the D to B hoses? Or am I thinking too much of it?

Yeah was helpful, as you said, once the front part goes in the rest follows.

Sounds easy reading it like that! I don't even have a pressure washer, just an outdoor tap, some hose pipe and a nozzle, does the job for rinsing I suppose! Will have to invest in some decent products though! Initial outlay probably be the worst of it though!
-
Yeah the rears I text you about probably took the most amount of time, but fiddly making sure the door lock knob doesn't drop!
-
I don't bode well crouching and kneeling. Spans ages doing wheels first, then I'd be knackered before starting on the body

I think I've only cleaned a car myself four or five times, ever
-
Cheers fellas! Door cards took ages! But I did have remove 8 and refit four! Also replaced a few bodges/broken bits so should make life easier in the future!

It was upside down!

All done!! Spot the mistake!

Ah right, what engine is your mates? Yeah I plan to get that working some time soon! At the very least I need a compressor, hopefully can source one second hand!
-
That's correct!

Here's the interior so far! Needs a bit of treatment but not bad generally! Front end complete! This was how the rear had to be left last night as time ran out! Door cards So that's all for now!

It's a D16, not sure on exact code but can have a look for you if you want? Has a gash autobox attached to it
-
Nearly done! Just got to drill some holes on the rear seat catches, then final assembly, stopped for lunch now and just uploading a load of photos!
-
That's the thing, I'd be sat in the deck chair supervising and providing occasional cups of tea Heko ones? I didn't bother if its them!
-
Looks great! Can't wait to see its new heart in!

It is a '97! Also means I was wrong about the rear seat-belts so a few bolts extra to do transferring the lap belt over but will just keep it under the bench as I don't carry three in the back anyway! Progress so far, front seats and door cards are done, rear bench and door cards also done! Just the rear back rest to change along with the middle lap belt and catches! Need to make the hole for the catches a little bigger so the original bolt will fit through it as I can't use the bolt from the donor, too small and not long enough. Enjoying it even if I has drawn blood and a few swear words!
-
EG/EK will fit but will only give you slammed, Grant has EK ones on his Deck!
-
Still need them dude! The ones on the donor aren't any better than my current ones
-
Highest bidder! Genius! Not sure how that would work mind but a private plate like that would work!

Come over to Notts for a kinder egg and a pound coin I found in the MB4?
