    Yeah best thing is stick her on the jack, spin the wheel (don't forget, handbrake off and lock it in gear!) and if you can hear it then it's most likely the bearing!

    You'll be after a rear lip once you've done them! There's a VTi-S rear bumper on the bay but a lot of money just to get the lip!

    Tell your mate to get it smoke tested, would show where it's leaking I'd have thought! For the cost vs time with it being what it is you're quicker just paying it. But at least it's not like you've got major corrosion issues! Probably worth keeping an eye on the drain holes in the doors?
