I'm going to be putting on the rear arb of an mg zs on my deck. However, the bushes on the arb look tired, and the Rear Anti Roll Bar to Body bushes are split. I've had a look on rimmerbros and they are not in stock. Yet, they are available from Superflex: http://www.superflex.co.uk/proddetail.p ... F324-0266K Which size do I need - is it 20mm? I'm also missing one of the bolts (m8 x 16) which isn't in stock either. Anyone know where I can get one? Rob

Cheers guys for the comments. What would be extremely useful is if you could post some links to head units - Pioneer / Kenwood etc?

Hiya folks. Just a quick disclaimer I know diddly squat about radios and head units etc, so could do with some advice on a nice upgrade for around £80 tops and it would be easier to me if I can use Halfords as then there will be no paper trail for her to follow My deck is currently running the Pioneer DEH-2130R head unit, with a Kenwood KPC-wda69rc Bass system. I'm after upgrading the head unit so I can play mp3's by usb and maybe stream a few via bluetooth too. The one within my price range is this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... 65474#tab1 Yes I do plan on using Halfrauds. Unless someone can recommend a place near Edinburgh? Is this worth the money? Will this be a straight swap? I've not taken the Pioneer out yet (I don't have the keys - hopefully some kind, charitable, civic5 user that lives near me can lend me them ) Cheers Rob

Cheers worked out how to get access to boot. My problem now is that the lower bolt, housed in the suspension fork, is stuck solid. I've sprayed it with an unlocking agent and given it a good scrub over the last two days but it is held fast. I've tried using a breaker bar but the socket / spanner just will not grip it. I also take it that if I wanted to replace the rear bushings on the trailing arm then the arm has to come out? A very annoyed Rob.

So it is just the speaker panal above shock I lift up?
-
Front all done. Could feel the difference straight away. Now I just have to do the rear: bushes and figure out how to get access through boot :/
-
That worked Ryan cheers. Just three more corners to go! And no I have not spent all this time doing it!
-
Cheers Ryan will give it a try

I'm at the beginning of installing the mg suspension. The bolts were surprisingly easy to remove. I've been following this guide: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=2164 Its brilliant stuff, but, how do you actually remove the suspension from the arch? Help me please! Rob

Now then! Can some kind person confirm how the hell I get access to the rear shock, from through the boot? I've got the shop manual and can't figure it out lol The quicker I know the quicker I can have a look at putting in: new rear bushes, mgzs suspension and mgzs rear arb are to be installed. Out of curiousity; how much would this cost if a professional did it? Rob

Cool build; Impressive sound. Bet your missus aint happy with the dollah being spent lol -
I've been offered an aftermarket exhaust that was on an mb6 which has the standard arb on, not the mg zs one. I've got the mg zs one with mg zs droplinks + lcas. Will this exhaust fit my mc2? Cheers Rob

cool build.

bastichs doing that to your car. Maybe have a crack with a rotary to polish it out yourself or speak to a few detailers in your area? Check out detailing world for scratches there have been some good results with dealing with scratches. They definitely need a cleaver to the neck tho twunts! I use the tesco 99 ron; I wouldn't desecrate my MC2's insides with that 95 muck
