Update So after many years my supersprint centre section has start to make new exit whole out the sides. Because this pipe puts such a big smile on my face especially in vtec did not hesitate to take it down the rod to the local power flow where they are now working there magic and hopefully adding a couple tweeks I was looking for. last time i saw my car it looked like this:: But beacuse its me i will leave you with a lovely photo of the car as when i get her back the winter wheels need to go on. strange seeing my new winter wheels tho, these are going to bring back memory's

New upgrade!!! First thing Brakes went with mtec disc's and EBC yellowstuff pads since then I have also fitted HEL braided brake lines as had a line block up so replaced them all. Next mod my carpet in the s2k drivers side was Feeked had some nasty holes in it. so ripped it out. and replaced both sides with nicer colourful one then i tackled some rust patches in the engine bay.they weren't to bad just a eye saw. I little sanding rust treatment, primer and paint sorted it nicely. mid way pic finished pic cant really tell but looks alot more looked after now. and now she sleeps. winter is coming and most days will be to cold to take it out but means civic will get more attention, LOADS more attention hopefully. last pic after a fresh coat of wax. Plans still to come in the future: NEW FLASH aggressive better wheels carbon fiber APR spoiler rear diffuser APR carbon fiber front splitter carbon fiber side skirts carbon fiber JS racing canards Recaro's KW coilovers headlight upgrade will come slowly as most mods are now very expensive! the miss's is going to kill me

I went in a Turbo MB before the Mb killer broke it, was pretty rapid but nothing will beat the sound a pure outright NA power.
-
it would make a mental fun ride, just need to find a spare seat to make it happen. Or i could borrow one of my s2k's seats

think next time I go home i should bolt a recaro to it and a 4 point harness, have some fun

New toys So had loads of festivals booked this year over summer and thought if i am filling the car up will need more space. I decided to make use of my roof rack and buy the biggest roof basket i could find I thought the standard basket look just wouldn't work so thought i would add something different and made a mount and added a huge LED light bar. because i can. best place ever to take a mid day nap Last frav pic from the front. next year all the kids will be doing it! The light bar was defiantly the brightest thing I have ever seen! going to hopefully have the front end resprayed soon as getting mad stone chips.

So quick update Spent the weekend getting rif of all the rust I could find on the car and restoring all the wish bones and suspension parts so hopefully they won't rust anymore (pics to come). I have had the s2k on track finally and now have a new list of parts I need to get. before I took it on track I serviced all the brakes with new discs and yellow stuff pads (pics to come aswell) but to keep the interest here is a Vid of the S2k on track at silverstone, was only a short session due to a Nissan blowing its engine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aENbctxL7Eg

So finally we will be up to date. I had a good chat to some s2k owners and alot of them recommended going for lowering springs unless you pay over £700 for a really good set of adjustable damping and rebound coilovers so after a while searching I got my self a set of apex lowering springs It took me a total of 3 hours to swap out the springs everything is so easy to get to on this car So it will drop a few more MM over the next few months but I honestly done mind until I get the funds to get a good set of coils its sitting at a very nice height This weekend was the lovely fun task of giving the car a good service Look at the Happy face when the hoonda is getting better and better (still not as good as my MB) There was one issue I Havant mentioned when my house mate's mini door ruined my passenger door but I got a hole new door in the same colour for £36 so wasnt to fussed in the end means I got a few spare pats for the door now I will leave you all with the up to date pic of the S2k next weekends plan is to put my custom exhaust on the car as the japspeed one wasn't doing it for me Updates will slow down now tho as the civic is about to have some long work done to it. but I will get some clips up of all the exhaust I have had for a laugh.

The first thing was to sort out a noisy chain tensioner After a little research I found out that its very common aswell so to fix it all you need to do it pull it apart and ruff up the screw looking part allowing it to gain the correct oil pressure. once again the internet was correct and the car ran with the smoothest engine sound ever . One mod I was dieing to get my hands on was a front lip after a while looking a got one of a s2k fwend so sprayed it up. and fitted it The guy who sold me the lip also didn't know how much washer jets are just like the MB/MC ones so was very happy to giv him a fiver for them both BARGAIN they just help sort the front. I also took the car to a s2k meet at the ace cafe which made me want to lower it straight away as it looked so high compared to the rest of them.

anyway Back to the wobble issue. I decied to change the tyres. funny enugh I managed to get aset of 17's which good tyres for £130 only issue was the tyres where smaller than i thought which made the car look stupid. So hoping this cured the wobble issue took it out for a drive and found it made it worse. Next thing to attack was rear caster and alignment hoping this was the cause. SO chucked it in dads work shop and spent the day sorting oout the siezed bolts. We fixed them by super heating the bolts screwing a wheel nut on the end and using a jackhammer to smashing the Fook out of it until it popped out the other side which worked a treat. I then spent the rest of the day with the laser alignment tool to set the tracking perfect sorting out this problem. I also replaced all the caster bolts and nuts with new ones and I hate spending £80 on 4 bolts and 4 nuts. So after a long drive back to london I was rather p**sed the car still wobbled when i lifted off the gas and when it dose it at 70mph it really wasnt fun so the next step was tyres. I managed to source a set of 4 Perilli Pzero's for a very good price chucked them on the back of the s2k and took it to the garage up the road. I was so relieved that after a full tyre change and 4 wheel tracking the s2k finally handled like it should which means now I had a base platform to really start improving.

mid progress shot of my babies So the car was pull in a straight line finally but still had a the wobble problem when i lift off. So decided to change the exhaust LOL I am not kidding when I say this exhaust was on the car for a total 10 minutes as It was the pure meaning of drone so where did I go next Japspeed cat back system This system was alot better but still didnt have the sond i was looking for sooooooooooooooo DECAT pipe not the best one out there ut it worked and gave he car I nice note t it for now but still go a beter idea i wan to try out.

Old clutch was completely dead so RPC stage 1 clutch went in fine and all put back together in 2 days wasnt muc space to work but thanks to flat mate got it done few other things that I replaced whilst it was in the air whch i can't be botherd to put pics up of are Both front and rear track rod arms front lower wishbones because got some new less rusty ones for super cheap drivers side ABS sensor and ABS gear ring With the car now driving loads better was time to sort the alignment and get rid of the funny wobble when i let of he gas We found we could only do the front in this session as the caster adjustment had seized up with is very common in s2k's

SO to power on the thread a little more heres a few more progress shots Before during after still lots to clean up but will get there in the future. CLUTCH change time some of the tools needed It was very cold but we were determind to get it done. pretty much involved dropping the front subframe 3inches to get to the top gearbox bolts and pulling everything out. 3 hours later
