Hello this is my Gen 6 Honda Accord 2.0 16v vtec project. I brought this car fully standard after my civic got written off. I had to get back into a honda so I brought this, it reminds me of a big MB at the front 😎and it isn't as slow as people think I've surprised a few " better cars " in this and Its been timed to 60 by gps in 7.4 seconds. Performance wise it only has a decat and induction kit, but it does help. I've been just past 135 on a private road which ain't bad for what it is! Plans are to turbo her if I can find a kit for a F series.

What a shame this was the first thread I looked on when I first joined up on civic5! I think the setup you was running defo has something to do with her ending up like this atleast you have more chance fixing her than I did with my MA still miss that car soo much I'm buying another one very soon!

I will be back in another civic soon people, just looking about for one narrowed it down to either a MB6, EG6 or EG9 defo one of them! I'm currantly driving a corsa at the moment brought off an old man who had it from new, in mint condition. DON'T expect to see a project in thee other cars (projects) because there won't be LOL! Its my run around for now, and it won't be getting modified, saving that for my next civic I will always be on this forum tho its the best! I enjoyed every minute I've been on this site, and it helped me out a lot, everyone does their best to help you out on here unlike some other "forums". Thankyou great people of CIVIC5

I was going down a road that was nice and clear then all of a sudden there was loads of wet mud and something else that was slippy on a sharp bend.. The back end went I corrected it and she done a 180 and hit a wall really am gutted about her.. She was my pride and joy! I will never forget this beautiful car! I miss her already :(

Bad news my MA is no more :( she's just been written off and scrapped FML!!!!

On a better note things are looking up for my civic I've de-cated her done an filter and oil change with some castrol gtx 10w/40 semi synth. Also changed the spark plugs with Ngk R ones, IMO they are better than iridium plugs. Also changed O2 sensor on the mani, and have sourced some springs off an EF but need to know if they fit before I buy them?

Causing stress lol.

When this rain passes over I'm going to go and have a look under the M because something else might be damaged, the impact was enough to knock the side repeater and cd player out.. Surprized the fuel didn't cut! But the council around birmingham are s**t! I will go ahead with sending them a letter followed by pictures, but I doubt it will go anywhere as they will come with some bulls**t like *its already been reported etc etc*.. Fed up of chucking money on my MA if its going throw it back in my face..

Got 2 new hankook tyres up front yesterday and the tracking done.. Was no point realy as a big pot hole just f**ked the front of my car.. So one has a nice slit in now and the tracking is back out!! Getting sick of this car now.. Any more s**t and its getting sold too much happening to it

I'm in the process of doing some more work to my MA, im getting her lowered about 50mm, fitting a new clutch, and maybe D14 gearbox, I also have a red antiroll bar that's going on tomorrow.. and 2 new front tyres and tracking as the roads around my area are crap! Pot hole central!! Pictures will follow from tommorow.

*both of them plugs definatly go to the original immobiliser box.

Looks decent mate, but I'm always put off older cars with tow hooks.. Never know what she's pulled in the past. But it is nice with the vti-s kit tho

Lol I got to 120 and she was still pulling so my MA isn't that slow and I had 2 passangers to vouch for that
