    Mine was on 110k when I done the swap, the d14 was still running perfect. But the d16 vtec that replaced it uses less fuel and has more get up and go

    I have a D14 gearbox with low mileage and in good working order that's sitting in my shed, and would like to know if it's better than the D16w4 gearbox. Ie, better 0-60, top speed?

    No point in going through insurance as mine is joke anyway. The merc sprinter had a tow hook on so that hit my bumper and damaged the paint so now I have to respray the whole bumper, gave his van a boot when he drove off so he will have something to fix aswell!!

    I'm sure the o2 sensor needs changing, and to top it all off today some c**t reversed into me! Didn't do a lot of damage but its got me p**sed!!

    The early MB1 SR were sold with the d16y2 127bhp engine, and the later models had the less powerful 113bhp d16y3 engine, for some reason the y2 isn't on wiki :/

    I now have the proper fault codes, and need help with what the numbers are, the first one flashed long 6 times followed by 5 short flashes so that's 65 and the second fault code is 41. Anyone know what these are?

    D16y3 is 113bhp and the d16y2 is 127bhp.

    Just had the wire in the 2pin blue socket and the EML light only flashed quick once, anyone know what it is? The cars obd2a.

    I'm after a decat mate but how much should I be looking to pay for one? And not getting a 4-2-1 mani as ill have to have a different one when I get the turbo sorted

    I still need to sort the EML light that's on the dash, but I don't think its anything to do with the power side of things, I could be wrong tho.. I know how to count the codes so I will write them down and see if anyone on here can help?

    Ahh the old bill will do anything to try and issue you with a ticket especialy if they are traffic cops, I wouldn't worry anyway mate. I was going to go to that show as it was in my town was it any good?
