  1. Was it a plastic lawn ornament deer? There's usually more carnage when animals are involved.
  2. We need to get "another friend" signed up here!
  3. Went to sign the renewal lease to my house today. Decided to do something I've been meaning to do on the way home.
  4. I think the ES comes in both VTEC and non VTEC flavours? Best bet is to find the engine code (stamped on the engine block) and look it up online.
  5. Saw these on Facebook for £6 and couldn't resist.
  6. I do sometimes. Pikachu has been enjoying the rain today. He stays mostly dry but his arse is a little damp!
  7. Just a bit! We're organizing a bit of a mini-meet and I also have some family nearby so it'll be a good weekend anyway.
  8. Because I like looking at them in my living room. Nah, it's because my driveway is a steep hill, as is the road I live on. Not ideal for changing wheels, let alone putting coilovers on. My only mate who works at a garage is @Shafzzz so I've been planning out a weekend in London to get them on.
  9. All modern cars have pollen filters so that only nice clean air comes out of your vents. It's not just an air con thing. My Beemer doesn't have one ('96 and above do though, d'oh!) so occasionally bits of leaves get blown out my vents.
  10. I didn't need an inspection pit to put my plates on, maybe I didn't install them right then.
  11. Don't mind me, just taking the same photos I always take because my driveway lacks any real oppertunity for interesting angles. Love how bright my regular ol' halogen bulbs are.
  12. Yeah just do what Shafzzz said. Shred them to the canvas.
  13. Maz only recognised me at Japfest because he recognised the fog lights on my car. I have a show plate with ROJ on the end that I'll be using at shows from now on, make it a bit easier.
  14. Ah! I thought it was Enkei because they've done Honda wheels around the same time, apart from the VTiS Chronos of course.
  15. Cheers! I somehow got the colour match spot on. More pre-Meister R updates! Got my goodies from hong Kong this morning. Two Genki Racing Project stickers, a bonus Enkei sticker that I didn't order (I suppose it works since Enkei make our OEM wheels right?) and a fatarse Pikachu. Pikachu installed. He doesn't realise the horrors that are yet to come. Maybe once I get the Meisters on he'll be able to touch the floor. The face of pure innocence.
  16. I barely have to lift my foot and I've got bite in my MB6 (1 year old clutch). Maybe your clutch is defective? Get it exchanged and see if the new one does the same thing.
  17. So I figured out my problems. Both the Exide battery (what I had in the MB6 originally) and the Platinum battery (fished out of the MB3) are dying but not completely kaput. The reason why the MB3 doesn't lose all its charge in a few days is because it has no alarm system and no radio (my BMW stole it, bloody Londoners hurr hurr), so the draw whilst the car is off is really low. The MB6 however has an aftermarket radio and an aftermarket alarm, which obviously draw a little bit of power whilst the car is off but the draw is within acceptable ranges. With a dying battery, any kind of draw is just made worse since the battery can't hold a charge very well. I'll just have to start the car up and idle it for a few minutes every day to keep the battery charged until it finally dies properly.
  18. I kept checking the battery voltage every 5 mins whilst letting the alternator charge it, it was definitely charging fine. I even went for a long drive and then checked it and I got 12.7 volts which I believe is a full charge. Every 2 or 3 years it seems to just fall out with the battery it has. Thinking of buying a Bosch S4 and seeing how it goes. The Bosch S3 in the BMW has been amazing.
