the nuts on these wheels need a little tool thing, so they're pretty safe, and myoem wheels are starting to look well past it, so they should be safe (fingers crossed...)

so first real long run since getting the gearbox work done yesterday (trip down to Leeds with work) and think that I might have noticed a theoretical problem with the ratios.... I imagine that if (for example) you were to take it to high revs in 4 th, then there would probably be quite a drop in revs when you change up into 5 th.... especially if it were to happen on a hill and you had a lighter flywheel...

it would probably still pull alright, but there would probably be a surprising drop in revs that doesn't happen anywhere else through the gears...
