Almost forgot I wasn't in the EU7. Better make a habit of not getting close to kerbs in car parks now.

Decided to paint my rear trim black tonight. Provided I don't royally screw it up I should have a dechromed MB6 tomorrow! :D Then I need to sort the headlights out...

Good news everyone! I didn't royally screw it up! I only screwed up a little! A bit of dust settled on the clearcoat as it was drying so the finish isn't perfect, but because it's black you'll never notice it anyway so I'm happy with the result. :D

I'll get pictures up when it's on the car tomorrow. Going to leave it to dry now in a safe place so no dust will get to it overnight.

Your mb6 is looking really nice mate. . Love those big fogs. . And I am glad you got inspired by my car for something even though many others have got the stickers in same place. . Its an honour for me :-)

Just rub it over lightly with some wet 2000/2500 grit paper and you'll get rid of any imperfections, whack another clear coat on after if you need to, it doesn't take long to dry.
