I assume most of the image links got lost in the forum changeover, so starting a new one might not be such a bad idea. Love this by the way.1 point

There is a thread for this already but it is pretty dusty. We can carry it on here I reckon! Linked for pea-roast reference- http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4716-inspirational-jap-cars/?hl=inspirational1 point

Except you will pay twice the tax, a lot more in insurance (depending on who you insure the mods with) and get half the mpg. A few breathing mods should give you more power than a mk4 GTI with over 200kgs less kerb weight. You may get lucky with a VTI hunt but a few members seem to be struggling to find good ones at the moment. BTCC do1 point

Nice work Dexter, definitely the best/biggest mod I would say, and lowering 2nd. Pretty much anything low on a nice set of rims looks good1 point

Are we allowed to nominate only 1 car? Everyone who has commented on here so far nominate a car and we will have 10 already1 point

Sell your MB3 and get a VTi, pick a good one up for under a grand now, much better bang for buck than trying to get more out of your MB3.1 point

The runners on the m cars are all completely different to all other Hondas, that's what I've heard. It's really hard to get aftermarket rails for our cars too. Best bet is to take out the passenger seat take off the rail and see what you can do to make it fit.1 point

Damn you all Andrew, you can only enter an M mate, otherwise the Accord would have put in for the last 5 months COTM's1 point

I loved mine too, pretty sure mine had centre caps that hid the wheel nuts and they were held on by a blue anodised nut with a orange pin through it.1 point

This is a very good write up of how to apply heat wrap http://www.exhaustwrap.co.uk/files/2012/06/Installing-Thermal-Velocity-Exhaust-Wrap.pdf The last point says: 9. Consider spraying the exhaust wrap with a VHT ( High Temperature Silicone Spray) like Hycote® VHTrange to seal and provide a coating to protect against the elements and improve the life of the wrap. So I think I will be spraying it VHT Blue also so that it stays Blue1 point

New headliner fitted this afternoon, which finishes off the new interior nicely, it's like a new car now. Nice little road trip over to Herne Bay to meet Harvtec who helped me fit the liner back in. Top chap.1 point
