Should of just took passenger front seat out, that way you and the kids can enjoy vtec while the wife has to stay at home and cant nag4 points
-
Full interior in now so can cart the kids about in style while wife's away. Best thing I ever did. Quieter. No creaks. Funky parcel shelf that I never paid attention too. Not worth stripping out again I've decided.4 points

Took her out for a short drive this morning once I'd sorted a couple of odd jobs! Pictures aren't great, low sun kind of spoils them, who'd have thought after all the moaning about the rain?! I noticed that with the rotor too! Will keep that in mind about the cap and getting something on the shaft too!3 points

Have a look at trinityD she had lots of dipping done lol2 points

Looking very nice and some very nice mods too glad you come over to the mad side lol2 points

Raceland went out of business, Europe side AFAIK their products were sh*t anyway! My Dad had a Golf MK4 they started to lock and corrode after a month so we took them back! Like many people have said MGZS shocks and springs, although the term "coilover" is thrown around so much it wouldn't surprise me if you just mean a non-adjustable Strut/spring setup I'm 99% that 'FoxSuspension' used the term coil-over meaning a spring over a strut2 points

http://www.camodipkit.com/ Scroll down and there some info about how it's done. You can apparently buy DIY kits as well, might have a go one day!2 points

Yep and do the e-brake mod with a 5 pin relay so i can watch movies on the go1 point

That's posh. Standard speakers are really good as well. Wouldn't think it they weigh about as much as a paperclip, tiny magnets but they do belt out1 point

Thanks for the well wishes So, today I should be packing a suitcase, but I decided to try and get a few jobs done My heater resistor pack showed up, so I fitted that, and now heater 1&2 working. I checked out the fuse box to see if the central locking fuse had gone. Strangely there was no fuse at all. I posted on the facebook group but ended up fitting a fuse. Voilà , central locking working from the key. Annoyingly, the fob isn't working, even after I figured out someone had pit the batteries in the wrong way around! Lastly, I had a go at the door cards to play with the window mechanism. I didn't have much luck getting the handle surround off, so I gave up. I used silicone lube down the side window rubber runners and its made a big difference So, some small jobs done before I go away1 point

It's amazing how quickly you can change the looks of a car to make it look so awesome. Great work mate. Definitely my favourite deck at the moment on the forum1 point
-
Great mods for the new year mate. Love the new fogs and you have done a great job on carbon wrapping. .Looks awesome. Loved your projector lights and looking forward to the new ones. Wish you would start making them more though. Would be awesome1 point
-
Springs for me as well. Cheap coil overs are gonna be exactly that.. cheap. If you want coil overs particularly I'd be looking at 2nd hand in decent condition. For example my teins were 265 quid in good used condition that's quite a saving and they are really good1 point
-
I wouldn't trust cheap nasty coilovers. My friend got 140quid coilovers from eBay and within 2 weeks both front shocks had blown. Personally I'm going for MeisterR but for your budget some springs should do you fine1 point
-
Yer that's why I went with trinityD more like a gt car than a stripped out race beast . It's just to much on the normal roads the sounds you hear and let's face it It's not like you are adding loads of extra weight ,I know every little helps and weight is a killer in 0-60 but my ears I am getting on anyway all you need to sort the extra bit of weight is extra little POWER1 point
-
Welcome mate. .nice to see another Facebook regular on the forum . Love your vti-s mate. Specially the last pic. She is looking like a stealthy beast now1 point

Nice pics of your good lady out cruising in her stunning M and they look wicked together in the car park, makes me smile every time i see mine together....1 point

Who mapped it. out if curiosity? Throwing rods is not good. I've seen some nice low boost 6psi stock setups and there still rolling nice years on. Like anywaything tho all depends on setups, the map, and the driver lol.1 point

This is a cracking looking M and some nice tasteful mods you already done..This will be a build thread worth checking on regularly im sure1 point

Thanks Tom engine bay is next I have a few things on order ie dress kit for the rocker more photos soon1 point

Yea i think I will clean them up and sort them out and get head work done. Just bought some cam gears and alpha series retainers and springs. The only thing with head work is it takes a long time and then I got to get it all tuned1 point
-
Let me know how it goes. I'll do the same1 point

Very true, jake (kink43) went through 4 boxes before he got a good one. My exhaust is a longlife custom built cat back system. It's fairly quiet until vtec.1 point
