  1. Nooo not ripped it off, just slight dislodged it again.... Because my deck got stuck Went to a paintball sesh and the roads leading into the woods (more like a foot path with ditches!) feels like it wrecked the bottom of my car It was quite embarrassing because my mates and their mates who I never met had to get a couple logs to get me out. All this took half hour Had a quick peek under the car. Back box is sort of tilting and a few heavy scratches here and there. I will get pics up tomorrow... As much as I love how the deck sits, I'm gonna have to raise it. Practicality over looks for sure

  2. on our eg6 rally car we use braided lines (made our own) castrol 5.1 fluid and ADL discs (standard parts available from CAmberley auto factors) and DS2500. Never ever had brake fade or retartdation problems on a 10 mile stage with regular heavy late braking from silly speeds and the ADL discs are very rarely changed either. Dont bother with grooved or drilled discs, complete waste of time for what u you want bud. Oh and get a brake stopper too, which stops flex on the bulk head, makes a big diffference too

  4. Well my girlfriend has the Aerodeck VTI and I have the VTI-S, I've started a project thread on mine so thought i would do one from hers seems as though its getting a few bits on it now, bought couple of years ago on about 113k (now on 128k) Work Carried out. Started off needing a release bearing so changed that and the clutch and a service, then it was undersealed, then i bought a VTI front splitter, then the ARB drop links, then i bought a VTI-S lip kit, then someone reversed into it and it got a new door and wing (poorly sprayed), then brake lines front to back, then another service, then front shocks, then tracking, then back box, then manifold and cat, then it got some 15" Fanblades with near new Toyo T1R tyres. Probably missed stuff but will edit later. Next week im picking up a few new parts for it Rear trailing arms with new bushes, JDM rear LCA's, Silver door, Silver wing, Rocker cover, Future Plans OEM DC2 Suspension, Exhaust (currently winning one on ebay, and will be putting my stainless manifold on when i go H2B), Fog Lights (see what plastic alternatives i can fit), Rear passenger arch repair (slight bit of surface rust but still solid and undersealed), Top arms, Removal of resonator box, Service. How i bought it... Then i bought a VTI lip Then I bought a VTI-S lip kit Undersealing! Under the Sideskirts before undersealing! Damn Exhaust! =/ His and Hers New Rocker Cover tracking had to get done New wheels Little one Cleaning the wheels lol Selfie My girlfriend got involved and changed her own wheels (can just see the surface rust which hasn't changed in two years lol but i undersealed the lip and inside) Before and after.

  6. Also the EP3 isn't exactly a bad daily, granted it's a bit stiff suspension wise (cue somewhat innuendoistic jokes) but it's huge inside, practical, and tame around town, doesn't return bad MPG if you don't drive like a loon either because of VTC

  7. Not too much to update as of late due to saving up for the dreaded insurance renewal in Nov! Being 21 in London with a type-R is pretty darn expensive! Recent updates: Removed the i-VTEC DOHC cover from the engine bay giving it a more purposeful look, then decided to convert my mates gangster as feck E39 BMW to the darkside Painted the brake calipers red, really don't understand why only 30th anniversary preface EP3s had this from the factory, it suits the black on red so well, excuse the crap pic, car's dirty due to builders down the road! Also front brake dust why? BECAUSE MINTEX!

  9. Yeah, my suggestion would be take your shiny new manifold to an exhaust place and get them to custom make up a de-cat pipe to suit the mani and centre pipe length.

  10. Voted for the hatch because in my opinion the aerodeck looks like a hatch with a little bit added on to make it an estate, then the rear boot lines like oh snap we measured wrong! hence the lip on the boot. But that's just my opinion and I do respect a fast estate. But I drive a Honda Stream type-R Breadvan so yeaaaaah.

  23. Right another update time!! been a long time since my last update, mainly as not done much to the car as currently saving for another toy But this is what I have been up to recently for those of you still interested. Went drag racing again not in august managed a 1/4mile time of 15.16secs still pushing for a 14 pass but its attachable with new rebber as my drag/ stock rims are pretty shot now. sprayed the stocks black just so the car dosnt look stock at the strip. think it worked nicely. With heavy braking from 100-0 at the end of each run It wasn't long before a wooping great crack appeared on my discs so they soon became scrap metal and where replaced with some MTEC grooved and drilled. they came with a nice gold spray on aswell which didn't last long but still a nice touch. whilst I replaced the brakes I thought it be the best time to get a set of these: so after a full brake system upgrade the time creeped up with me and I went of to Trax show and did some time around silverstone where the car handled amazing. all the suspension, brake and bracing moods really paid off and was unbelievable better than my first attempt 2 years ago. Anyone interested this is the link to a in car cam of the 15mins i was out. little dull but i do manage to pass 2x type R ep3, a s2000 and a few other cars and have a corsa spin out close to100bhp on my last lap: I have a few big mods planned for the car when things go quiet over Christmas so you guys should like that but until i start them i will leave you with a coupe of nice pics of the car like normal.

  28. So!!!! Quite a big update!! Quite a lot been going on, but been slack in updating!! This happened! Spot the difference! Then may have got some of these!! Work beginning! And final result. Sits so much better. Ride is vastly improved. A lot stiffer with a lot more confidence mid corners. Sorted the alignment out, although it didn't chuck it out by much. Will get some more whoring pics when I clean her tomorrow. Well worth it IMO. They ride lovely! Big thanks to Phil for his help. Was a doddle! Also big thanks to Krzys for keeping me first dibs!
