Oh I almost forgot to post, I done more polishing the day after. Well, another wash, polish and then wax. She came up absolutely beautiful. No more swirl marks or light scratches and just a nice deep shine. Just such a shame about the matte black panels...

Weather has picked up so washed and managed to put the summer wheels back on the civic and forgot how good they look!

Depends how bad it is really. That was the death of my mb6. But rusted all the way through from inside. Windscreen was leaking. seems to be lots of folds kind of join there making it awkward to weld. At least that's what I was told. but mine was obviously extreme. So without seeing it hard to say..

Uuuupdate! Drove to Leicester on Friday for the start of the 'Furious Mimms Weekend' as we put it. Arrived in Leicester to be greeted by this beauty on @Sorivity driveway: I know right, isn't that clio an absolute stunner! The S14a that boxes it in isn't too bad either I suppose. We started sorting out Sorivity/Andys car on the Friday, and the Saturday but I'll let him update that in his thread. Everyone then cleaned their cars (thanks again Andy for cleaning mine! Appreciate it a lot man), watched Fast 7, then once everyones cars were looking presentable we went for a photoshoot. Props to our mate Richard for the pictures. ^ Andy your car looks amazing in that pic My favourite shot of my car from that evening. Werewolf, full moon. ^ ^ The next morning me and @Roj set off for the Mimms meeting point, we somehow did a 50 minute journey in 31 minutes including a 5 minute fuel stop.. Somehow. Amazing convoy. ^ Then we were joined by everyone else, and some random EPcivic people. ^ Mimms! Had a good day out at Mimms, a lot more variety than I was expecting, and was nice meeting you all and seeing your cars as well as watching @UnicyclingTom and @Krzys battle it out on track! Post Mimms, well when driving back to Leicester for a quick rest before driving back home after Mimms my car started making a familiar noise. A noise I'd heard before when my downpipe springbolt had snapped. Oops. I drove it the 130 or so miles back home and then yesterday at work put it on the ramp and surprise surprise.. Luckily I had a spring bolt spare from when the OTHER one went, in hindsight I should've changed both at the same time, but oh well, sorted now and car sounds as it should.. or does it? After hearing Krzys EP3 at Mimms I've been wanting that intake noise, so with help from Krzys on what to order (thanks again!) I've ordered the S2000 intake setup he's currently running. Will it heatsoak in London traffic? Probably. Will I care with THAT intake noise? Probably not. But yeah that's the update for now!

Oh no so finally the debate settled. Type r is quicker than a deck!! I bet you had so much fun man. Jealous. No point having these cars if you don't give them a pasting every now and again. Some great shots aswell.

A mate of mine is selling me his old 16" Teg wheels cheap, and after some rough maths, i think it was 205/40/16 will give about the same rolling diamiter as my 15" fanblades so ill report back once its done (hopefuly next month)

So exhaust was blowing like mad and had a crazY rattle. Bodged up with some naff bolts. not done a lot otherwise. Cleaned air filter. and gone a bit nuts on ebay. 12 items on there way. Mostly service and repair bits.

since it was a lush day today! managed to give this car a proper wash and polish and it comes up well for a 24 year old car! got to love the pearl black paint! Also some pics to show the targa roof which I will be having off if the weather keeps up and the half pillar less doors! But have her booked in for the dreaded MOT tomorrow haha should be fine last mot advisories were front tyres and they have been replaced. and yes this is a reflection shot!

Total pain in the ar*e. Those turbo pipe plugs are a bad idea. I chose that sump as it had decent reviews and it was baffled. If anyone is thinking about buying a Moroso sump then I strongly advise against it. OEM all the way IMO.

Black is always minus, and red is always plus. Often you get other colours too like white, brown, blue or yellow but almost always one of the wires will be red or black. And when you know what polarity that is, it's pretty easy to figure out the other one, no matter what colour.

Just lop the plug off and put some spade connectors on Instead. Or use a small piece of the cable you've got with connectors on and join that to the original cable. Can use crimp connectors or sokder. Use heatshrink or insulating tape to cover any soldered joints. Can't remember the polarity off top of my head though. A google search will reveal all I'm sure.
