Definitely pal, I'm not sure what to do with the interior yet, as it's all grey it Even has the factory cassette/tape player haha. I think outside I'll just do a blue and black colour scheme with yellow brake callipers.1 point

Did a little work today on the engine bay. Had two original hoses and I used braided sleeves and a special clamp to brighten it up. I am planning to do the electrical wires in braided sleevers too. so from this: to this:1 point

Have covered quite a lot of a and b road miles now since fitting the brace and I'm genuinely surprised by the difference. I was fully expecting no difference at all and just bought it coz I've always fancied one, they look better, and they can't be any worse. But, it's really transformed the feel of the front... Especially on lumpy bumpy roads. Feels so much more direct and stable. One of those fall in love with driving the car again mods1 point

Thank you very much guys. All the hoses have been checked, however it will be having a Timing belt shortly. Plans include a mb6 hub swap so I can run the 16" accord sport wheels, coilovers and the vti lip kit for start. I know people will say why not just buy a mb6, well due to Me being a new driver the insurance just isn't justifiable, so I will be keeping the 1.5 for a long time coming. I've already had someone wanting to buy it, however I'm going to keep it, even as a daily when I'm able to Have two cars.1 point

Don't need to remove anything apart from the two circled bolts. Box stays on. Gotta be worth a shot before all that expense and effort.1 point

Bay is looking good! Don't paint the wiper arms. Just do them flat black.1 point

Well it really is. Obviously I can't gaurantee it'll cure the problem but certainly a common cause.the spring and ball sit in a notch on the shift rod and hold selected gear. If the ball wears or the spring fails it doesn't work. Very simple. I just happen to have a box sat outside my back door. The two circled holes contain the offending articles.and the other pic is what often fails. Again I happen to have these floating about the kitchen. So took a pic. Just have to be really careful and put them in square.1 point

Yeah, @weetec did quite a bit of experimenting... Think that he ended up getting some special eibach made springs for the mg?1 point

I'm pretty sure someone's tried this before and there's some weird s**t occurs. Because of the different length of shock. Maybe weetec's project thread??? Can ya search for mg zs lowering springs to accompany the mg shocks??1 point

Cheers mate I just thought I'd change wheels to silver to break up the darkness lol I think it makes it look cleaner1 point
