  2. Well big update time, only been in the paintshop queue for like 3 months but, back in March I booked in for new rear arches. Last week I got it back, and I very happy with the outcome This was done by a place called Reflex Auto Design in Daventry. Progress pics from the paintshop Finished product Filled the antenna hole while I was at it. Also got these radius rod bushes in too. And did some serious tiding up inside all arches also. Put on some new rear tyres, Goddyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 215/45/17 91Y XL too, loving them also. So yeah these arches were letting the side down Sorry had too. Really has freshened up the appearance.

  3. So, decided to finally sell the Civic TypeR FN2 (Roxy) for something a lot cheaper to run as my daily driver. Enter Carly, my 2008 Mini Cooper! She's only had 2 owners from new (same as Roxy), full history, Lower mileage than Roxy and decent spec compared to some Coopers we've looked at. Also got a cracking deal with the garage which saw me getting the car plus cash for trading in the FN2 which was a bonus! The colour looks like a champange metallic, but is actually called "sparkling silver", which we've found out is quite a rare colour on the Coopers, so that's a bonus!. The cars been really well looked after by previous owner and is immaculate bar one wee tiny mark on the front bumper (and knowing my ocd, that'll be a new front bumper she's getting then! lol). Plans are new alloys same as DD's, spotlights, Cooper stripes in black, tint the rear windows, and some interior upgrades. Cracking wee car to drive, really handles sweet! And still quick enough for me to have fun with, but also excellent mpg and cheap tax compared to the FN2. Anyways, here she is...

  4. Not much happening with DD lately as her mot ran out in June, so bought the ABS sensor from Honda and got her booked in for next Wednesday for mot and sensor fitting. Taking her to the dealer I bought the mini from as they've got a cracking workshop and decent rates too, so fingers crossed she passes. Then she can hit the road again! Looking forward to driving her again!

  6. LOL i paid like 10 quid its spot on! As for heat i dont really care, the engine and mods are for the moment temporary till i can get my engine swap going, just put new outer tie rods on and went for a test drive, wow the bike can sounds epic lol nice low hum to a loud rasp at 7k and nearly crashed into some old man watching the rev counter lets say he was a bit surprized Hopefully if i have some time at some point i need to pop to the local garage to get the tracking done! Oh the smiths gauge didnt work, followed the diagrams and nothing, had to send it back for a refund. I rewired the new one back in & although it jumps about on idle, it goes solid when you rev it under load so thats fine for now lol

  11. Test fit of temporary intake hose. Hmmm For some reason the other pics won't upload @Dave It's a flexible bog pipe. Rubber end squeezes in real tight and fits a treat, even with the oval hole. Takes a bit of squeezing the pvc pipe into an oval shape, but it's bang on for size. Won't fit past the resonator though, so it's going to have to wait till the weekend for that to come out.
