Give it a good prod about with a hammer, see if it goes through. If it doesn't get rust treatment stuff on it then underseal it mate. Seen a hella lot worse than that!! Do the same with pass side to save it. Whatie vti decks are getting really rare, same with the mb6 hatch in white.

shame on that door mate, that rust doesn't look bad! see if you can poke it and if it sounds solid, paint that bitch up and get another mot tester to do it, if the 'rust' is covered in black paint, they wont know

Weeny update... Had a six monthly service, but with the added bonus of a k&n for the teg air box, and, courtesy of @10000rpm an aluminium radiator, slim fan and silicon hoses to sort out my coolant loss and to add some new part goodness Also got a cheapo eBay intake tube to use as a feed for the air box instead of the temporary flexi bog waste pipe. I've left part of the bog pipe in situ to act as a tunnel / shroud to try and protect it from wetness, as I've seen the mugen one has a shield.

I had to get my sill welded last mot as well. White decks are fairly rare... Especially vti ones. Hope you manage to save her
