That's one of the annoying jobs done anyway! Just snapped the handle of the only screw driver that I could turn the ones by the handbrake though! Waiting for the drill to charge so I can use it to get them loose then I'll probably pack up for now as it'll be dark and don't want to leave the interior in bits. Had an idea about rescuing the regulator that falls to bits, will let you know if I get anywhere with it!
RIGHT! I am going to be brave now by lowering my car in the new year! I am sick of looking at it seeing it nearly done, but the arch gap is so big you can park a couple cars in there... It looks so out of proportion! So like I said before, I am going for the cheaper option by lowering springs. Hopefully a 2nd hand set will turn up locally as there are always Civic's being broke for parts. Either a set of 35mm or 40mm will do... It might cost a bomb when I declare it to the insurance company but I will sort something out
Love how some proper kit going on this M... I was going to mention about the reflectors/lenses in the headlights but obviously it shows the light was all over the place! Does look cool without the reflectors/lenses though
Looks cool! And what Nick says, I always reset the ecu after any mod has been done on the engine. You might not feel the difference after but you never know. I have noticed a difference after resetting the ecu when I changed the exhaust manifold
The rocker cover looks sweet! And that is a nice big update on suspension! Can't wait to see it fitted I had the opportunity to get MG ZS 180 suspension and rear ARB from scrappy (when I picked up that back-box recently) but I didn't have the right tools on me at the time. Went back there on the weekend and it was all gone
Those door handle clips break all the time you can usually get em to stay with a small zip tie for a bit. Getting the door cards off is a bit of a mission the first few times until you get the technique. Next time your in the scrapyard grab a few of them as spares (along with a handful of trim clips and those caps that go on the grab handles ). Theres a good breakers near Crawley if your heading down to Nicks. For the dash trim remove the instrument cluster surround and work in from that end. If you need to lever against the dash use something really wide like a 3" scraper.
You don't have to touch the ecu mate, just the fuses, they're in the fuse box under the bonnet next to the battery, locations are on the underside of the lid. The other option is to disconnect the battery.
