  5. I totally agree with you! I'm just going to go for springs to keep things simple and then go for coilovers when I can afford it. Plan...

  6. Wooho!! looks like she likes her new 10w40 oil, after all the weekeend vtec´ing in the circuit and roads, it hasnt drinked any oil!! And it sounds smoother now, it had a lot of strange noises when idling, and when retaining at high rpms. Here´s a video of the fun we had in the circuit: aaand some photos: 4x4 mode in this one!! hahahah Merry Christmas for all!!!!!!

  10. I'll be doing the ECU reset on monday! So basically maz... Run engine up to temp... Turn off... Take fuse cover off fuse box... Look under fuse cover for the 'ECU' and 'ECU BACKUP' fuses... Take those two fuses out... Leave ten minutes... Put fuses back.. Start engine and leave to idle untill back up to temperature then your done...??? Thats how i read it, sound right lads??

  12. I think that's for the best mate to be honest, I'm still not sure whether it's appropriate to use MB or MG springs on MG shocks. MB springs have the right rates for the car's weight etc. but there is a possibility of them being overcompressed due to the shorter length of the MG shocks. Although I had MB eibachs on my MG shocks for almost 2 years without a problem.

  14. Yeah, sorry it does read like that, as Simon says it's the fuse that says "ecu" and the one that says "ecu backup".

  15. in the fuse box in the engine bay (near the battery) there's a fuse with "ecu" and one with "ecu backup" on.... that's all you have to whip out (might need some little pliers though)
