  5. Pumps more fuel in, the turbo compresses the vapourised petrol this is then forced into the cylinder and when it mixes it goes bang harder. The seals and bearing seals are made from a high temp silicon iirc and silicon and petrol don't mix nor do they like the high amount of pressure being exerted on the shaft which run harder and faster as its basically a hot rotating explosive aerosolOur 180 had antilag on the omex system, had a switch on the dash to turn it on. When it was activated once the police turned up. Armed. Though it was gunshots.

  9. Afternoon people had some more free time I removed the power steering but I didnt like the drive without it so refitted it. Also fitted the s2000 clusters today. The car is going back into the bodyshop monday rear wheel caught the arch and cracked the paint. I have all the paperwork for the plate just need to send it of to dvla so they can tranfer it onto the car. Pics to follow

  10. It's a vent to allow a little airflow in a bid to stop condensation. Doesn't do its job very well.. as condensation inside the arches is often what causes them to rust inside out. Could probably do with a vent the other side but there isn't one

  15. Yes, European launch probably spring next year, this is a concept though so it probably won't look exactly like that, arches added rather than part of the bodywork, 19" rims with 20" as an option, I like this quote though;

  26. Ummmmmmmm I'm thoroughly trying to convince the wife that it's not going to confuse her too much (she still holds out her hands for her left n rights!) Then the actually mod, I don't think will be too bad. I had a brief look last night, think the EF you sent will fit onto the steering wheel, but has different connectors. Will look in more detail on the w/e as I have slotted a few hours Saturday for some tinkering and a clean. Have a big list in my notes on the phone of things to do.

  27. It would have to be pretty bad for that to happen, I.e. if they left a hole in the exhaust. If it's professionally fitted you won't have anything to worry about.

  28. Armed police, put the exhaust down or we will shoot you.

  29. Really frustrating mate, you should be able to go and get the geo set up with an idea of how you want it to look and they should be able to tell you how it can be achieved and then go about doing it otherwise why are you paying them? The wheels are 7x16 aren't they? Are you running spacers? If not what offset are the wheels? From looking at the pics on the previous page yours looks a bit lower than mine at the rear but about the same on the front and I get no scrubbing at all. Hope you get this sorted.

  32. Yeah I thought so too! Saves having to think about what you need to buy and if you have everything, plus you give them the relevant info like what you're planning to paint and they'll quote you for the materials and paint you'd need so you shouldn't end up with too little for the intended job!

  36. I drove my mb6 like that for a year. Never got worse for me and was only on full lock. Replaced shaft when did engine swap. It'll be your outer cv 99% of the time. There is very little movement on the inner cv whilst turning. But like you said get someone to have a butchers if you can't diagnose yourself

  37. Don't get disheartened, it's just wear and tear, you have to expect stuff like that when they get to this age and a garage should be able to diagnose it for you. And it could be worse, imagine if you'd bought a sh1tron.
