ok, a wee update on Ruby! Been busy with the interior, with a couple of classy additions. Alloy TypeR Gearknob, courtesy of Adam for my Birthday! Also got a TypeR gear gaitor, to compliment the gearknob. this also matched the red stitching on the steeringwheel and mats And the mats........original MB6 VTiS mats, which finish things off nicely. And this is the most recent pic of how she now stands. The plan is to make her a VTiS replica, but in Sicillian red! I have the full VTiS lip kit for her (just need top get busy with the sprayer!), so just need to get the early speedline alloys to complete the VTis pack. So spec so far is: Smoked side indicators Full Powerflow stainless steel exhaust Pioneer MP3/WAV/CD head unit TypeR Gearknob TypeR Gear gaitor VTiS floor mats VTiS front lip, rear lip and side skirts (to paint and fit) Custom bonnet grill (almost ready to fit!) Next will be lowering her 40mm, induction kit, HID's, fitting speedline (splitspoke) VTiS alloys and TOYO rubber all round. Hope you like her

cheers for that!

Ive not heard of the K being used, but would be a very nice project! Especially in a deck! I would imagine it would be a whole load of work, but would be worth it for having something so awsomely practical! lol Thats a good price on the coilies! Think i'll need to stick to the cheap route for now, and just get lowering springs! how much were the side deflectors? I take it you ordered them for rover 400, or do the list the M's?
-
ahh man jammy sod! what a difference those coilies will make to the deck mate! Loveing what youve done to her so far, alloys look sweet, and the deflectors are cool as! Can I ask how much it cost for the set of 4? coming along nicely mate. PS kick that builders ass!

Thatll take a bit of modding to fit eh! will be worth it though, think it will be the first time it's been done (on here anyway!) so always good to be the first to star a trend! Looking forward to this! Sideskirts look really good too mate -

right, not done any more mods but did have Ruby in for the first MOT that I've put her through since I bought her. I've been dreading this, as the 1st mot usually shows up all the bits you missed or were starting to wear out when the cars was bought. So, she goes in at 8:30am. gets the call at 10am from the garage.......................shes failed! NOT! mechanic says she sailed through, absolutely perfect, not a thing wrong with her!!!!!!!!!! I is one very happy bunny, and Ruby is starting to live up to Betty's High standards! Love it!!!!!

Haha! I'll be keeping an eye on you Mr Jalesi! pmsl. Thanks chaps, yeah, the tail is only slightly larger than standard, so good for keeping an oem look. Its bedded/settled in nicely now, loving it to bits! Car is deff more responsive now, and sounds subtly wicked when its going quickly Best bit is though driving it normally/gently, its as quiet as a standard exhaust, so best of all worlds!

Wee update! Went to Powerflow (RJM Performance) today and showed them the exhaust. They did the measure up, and came back with the news it could be modded to fit no problem. They fitted a new flange after cutting the old one off (it was busted) and got it all fitted up in about an hour and a half. Quality of fitting is amazing, Exhaust looks like its been on the car since it came out the factory, so hats off to RJM! Well, just bought Ruby a present! As the exhaust was blowing, decided to give her a treat with a cat back Stainless Powerflow exhaust (thanks to Ash again for this!) It was off an aerodeck, so back box requires very slight modding to fit. She's booked in to Powerflow tomorrow for them to have a look and see whats needed, then it will be on with the exhaust. Soent hours yesterday cleaning the exhaust up, and its came up a treat! Pics will be up soon

gonna look sweet mate -
Always loved the slipstreams mate, was gonna get them for the blue MA8 i had. That styles been around a while now and still looks superb.

Thats a cracking looking deck you've got mate! Did you get the sunroof wind deflector from honda? Didnt know they were still available. Dawn got one from honda fitted to her deck, and they do make a big difference to the wind noise etc. I take it its got the wee vent thing on it? Those rims should look good on it, look like jspl's? I'd be tempted to get the lips polished on them to lift them a bit like, but depends on the style you want. Lowered and it'll look the danglies

they a/m ones dave?
