My Pirates Black Civic VTi... Quick Machine Polish
WilkesyMB6 replied to WilkesyMB6's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
I managed to get the right weather today and frame of mine to do a quick machine polish of the car. I only did two passes with different pads and compounds, it has got rid of 90% of the swirls though so im happy for now Not the best shots as i had to go out and the sun was in the way in nearly every one. I do like the bonnet reflection one though -

I only took the pic after putting that on as i wanted to send it to a mate saying yay or nay lol. Also i thought i had more tape that i had, as i only managed to get one side covered and the sunroof lol. I forgot to say i didnt notice any difference in the bars i have used, both have taken off crud. -

I prefer the DC2 one over the ATR as its not soo in your face. I think you have to drill new holes though, which is the same for the ATR in case you are wondering. -
So did he just break it then? I thought he was putting it back to standard and selling it! Sounds about right about the parts lol

I have used mainly Megs bars, but i did use a different one at the start but cant remeber which brand it was. Just for James lol -
Its all down to personal taste, i think if i were to change mine i would get some 98 spec itr reps in gun metal.

A local engine tuner said to me that it was my injectors rather than the valve timing needed doing. I was like really lol

My mate tried it on his own car once and it went horribly wrong, he had to take it to his work and get a pro to get it back to what it should be. -

That's the standard trim for that year, mine was the same until i wrapped it. -
Yeah they are a straight swap for both of them, the jazz ones are a lot smaller than the citreon ones, they are the same size as OEM i think.
