  1. Sounds odd. Could be engine movement? If say the rear mount was bad you could notice the excess engine movement at low speeds on and off the throttle. Or when slowing down just before you put clutch down.
  2. Ah mate. It'll get done. Feel for ya but things are never simple working on older cars. Everything seized or whatever. What tools you got??. The screw in the rotor arm need quite a fat bit. Ph2 or bigger maybe. Hope you have a bit more luck and at least you can take your time now the accord is insured
  3. Also Paul knight was using 17" et38 they were on OK but im sure th fronts scrubbed on full lock and his rear arches were rolled to clear
  4. I used 16"et40 on my mb6 they were great no scrubbing at all. I was also using 195 tyres with a small stretch though so that may have helped.
  5. Strange ay. I remember that though Paul.
  6. I know what you mean it's a lot of dow Wheel bearings seem to become an issue around the 100k mile mark especially if you've had issues with seized calipers. Least ya do them once then hopefully they should outlive the car. Fronts are cheaper as you replace the actual bearing rather than the whole hub On The Rear.
  7. Unfortunately your up s**t creek! They are about 90-100 quid. Joke cus you can get the 4x100 for half that and there identical bar the studs
  8. Go for it man. Free bumps.
  9. Dont Know what to say. Surely I'm too young to say, what is the world coming too?
  10. Please don't tell me someone did that and scarpered?? Shocking mate!
  11. Yes its not ideal. I'm gonna nick a road cone and put it at the back!. My thermal barrier gaskets arrived for intake manifold, iacv and throttle. Have now realised the s90 throttle is not the same design as oem so the gasket despite being 70mm won't work. Guy has been awesome and says he'll make one that fits if I send him a stencil. Happy days.
  12. I had that issue but I've had to get over it now with no garage anymore. Now think f**k it. Been out in the rain all evening
  13. I like the flaps. Don't usually but think yours work well. Bit different too. Did you get the car tuned? What power did it get? Sorry if I've just missed it somewhere.
  14. On a positive note the new cams gone into machine shop today to get journals polished up ready to plop in.
  15. Tell me about it. I'm destined to have a scruffy old car. Another thing on the list to sort. I like my cars scratch free can't deal with it
  16. Bonnet on your own is awkward. Me and knight did mine ages ago then he had to go home. So left on my tod was up til about 2 am trying to do grill end wrinkle free. Very awkward indeed!
  17. Keeps getting better and better. How long til your on the road? Doesn't look like it will take you long.
  18. Sounds good. Doing a great job on this car. You should be proud. Looks great.
  19. I guess so... http://m.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2494469&styleid=14 Also I had to repair a mitsubishi space star 1.3 The Other Year. Was stalling coming to a stop. I.e wouldn't idle. £10 New pcv valve in. Idled perfectly straight away.
