Yeh it's getting a pro valet tomorrow too. !! Happy days! More whoring then.
-
Or, he could hide it upside down in a field.
-
Yeah but your MB2 isn't exactly as it came out of the factory now is it?
-
I know someone who had an ATR for a while and he said it was nowhere near as good as the B18 and he went straight back to an MB6. You should buy a cheap MB6/MC2 and sling the B18 into yours, I won't suggest you sell yours and get an MB6 as it's way too nice.
-
Or Ant & Dec might jump out and double team you.
-
True as they can be boogers to get off the end of the shaft. Costs a bit more though.
-
Some nice photos mate, you're getting into this photowhoring lark now eh!!
-
You can't really go wrong with Pioneer and that's well cheap.

If it's on full lock when you hear it I'd say it's definitely the cv joint, which you'll need to replace. Not an MOT failure afaik but not good for the other steering suspension parts, try J&R on ebay, good price, quick service.

I thought that was yours on the dynodaze facebook, 215bhp though gutted.

I would try getting someone else to try it while you're in the boot with the trim off to see what's happening.
-
You could try some wd40 or grease on the latch.
-
and was it if yes, I can only imagine it's stretched so not enough force to disengage the latch.
-
Looks like your cv boot is perished, which means it has been letting all the cr4p in from the road which has probably worn the bearings explaining the grating you are hearing.

All 1.6 model decks are MC1, 1.4 is MB8, 1.5 MB9, MC2 is 1.8 and MB3 is 2.0 dirty diesel. Hope that helps.

It's not recommended to use additives in these engines mate, if you want to flush it get a couple of litres of cheap oil pop that in, run it for a little bit then drain it again, fill it with good oil.

E4019 = MB2/3/4/MC1 E4024 = MB6/MC2.
