  1. Fantastic news. I hope you have a great day and have a great honeymoon.
  2. Thanks everybody, yes much happier with the chronos on there, rides much nicer too. It's supposed to be pirates, the badge turned out fine but the surround went flat. I may redo it but it is growing on me, I'll see how the rear trim goes first.
  3. i think the towbar bolt's in to the rear chassis rail's, but wether the mounting hole's are the same in relation to the rear of the car both on the hatch and the deck, i can't confirm. Yes, towbar bolts onto chassis rails, as above though I can't confirm whether or not they're the same.
  4. No, no, no, no, no, no vauxhall.
  5. Looking minted mate, nice job, head unit is need a changer for it now though.
  6. X2 sort it out fella, nice and clean with a B16.
  7. Had a busy weekend, cleaned my chronos inside and out and then sealed them. Got them back on the car today, which makes me Halfway there Then I painted the grill and H badge, it's not turned out exactly as I hoped it would but it's growing on me, what do you guys think.
  8. X2 X3, go for the box, I couldn't justify spending that much money for a manifold.
  9. x2, I can't fault anything with mine either, I can't think of anything else that gives you as many smiles per mile without costing the earth or being horribly unreliable.
  10. Looks good so far, needs lowering. What's with the Opel badge.
  11. Sad days mate. I'd love to take some of those quality goodies off your hands but doubt I'll be able to afford them.
  12. Nice, looks spotless, liking the fans. Is that a sapphy cosworth in your drive too.

    cutting out

    x2 sounds like the dizzy.
  14. • Clean wheels using bilberry, with brushes and a sponge, rinse and powerwash under the arches. • Prewash with foam. • Rinse again. • Handwash (also use AG) 2 bucket method using a noodle mitt. • Rinse again. (I'll be trying the sheeting method next time as it looks a lot easier to dry that way) • Dry with microfibre towels. • Go over with a quick wax, if not polishing etc. Good tip James, I'll try that next time, I like a lot of suds.
  15. back, glad you still have her and she's still looking bang tidy.
  16. x2, good write up Phil, it is a simple job if you have all the right tools and everything goes to plan but if you're not too sure then probably as well to get a garage on it.

I need to change mine too, looks awful, the only thing I can suggest about getting it out is to do it very slowly and carefully.

  19. It's not too big a job to do yourself unless you run into problems and it should take a garage less than an hour so depends what local rates are.
  20. That's quite a list, should keep you out of trouble for a bit.
  21. Good work, been busy with the carbon.
  22. Nissan 200sx with the offset 35 to 42 fit according to the list I have. Not sure what the s13 has. Hope that helps though.
  23. The tow bar doesn't look like a factory one but if it is it will come off with effort, they have some heavy duty bolts holding them on.
  24. Wow, that's gonna be one minted eg when you get it back, longest month ever waiting though. Shame you're not making it to japfest 1.
