how long will my MA8's D14A2 engine last (well maintained)
NIKH25 replied to skitzma8's topic in Engine & Chassis
Looks a real nice colour, not seen that before. -
I'm sure Rich @ Dynodaze has seen improved results on the same car running normal unleaded then vpower. I think the ecu does learn and make changes as you say from the sensors as you go, but as you also said a reset puts it back to factory, it then relearns from the environment what settings it needs.

Rimmer bros. have bushes: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID003099 If the paint is flaking, you might as well rub it down and paint it. Use hammerite or similar and as Paul says yes, you do need to use the mg brackets, just spray plenty of wd40 and they should come off.

Video not working mate, I will have to use my imagination ^^^^^^^Oh dear.

x2, I feel for you though mate, as it seems if you get a good set with no problems then all's fine but if you encounter any problems then their customer service is non-existent. As Krzys said, try a paypal dispute.

Like glass mate, lovely.

Very true, auto lights and wipers are an absolute joke, lights come on when you drive under a tree and the wipers are just dangerous.
-
^^ As above, I think you would need a new cat and probably mani too.

It wasn't too awful reliability wise, just really f*cking awful to drive, so slow and unresponsive and the interior is was filled with horrible plastic, I only had to take it back once but can't remember what for. It's an unfortunate episode in my life I'm trying to forget.

That looks stunning mate.

So true, I had a Renault megran on a 3 year motability contract and spent nearly 2 and a half years looking at MB6s and bought mine with 4 months left to run on the contract.
-
That sucks.

Mmm adjusts it to what I would assume that it adjusts/retards the ignition timing in relation to the octane of the fuel.
-
Sorry mate I didn't mean you, I was just posting the advice to Gary for this post: I'm sure you're not trying to sell them on here bud but needs an edit.

What a sleeper, great job mate, you are gonna have so much fun embarrassing people with that.

x2, clay bar will not remove scuffs or scratches, it picks up ingrained dirt like tree sap. If when you've cleaned your car you run your fingers over it and the paint still feels gritty it needs claying. Top job nick, car is looking Ah right.. My mate told me it removes surface scuffs like paint from walls/cars. Mmm.. I am still considering it as I touch my car alot Yes, if someone leaves some of their paint on your car then it should take most of that off but so will polish and that will be better for the scratches left too.

Those speakers look pretty meaty, nice one, can't beat the price either.

I think you need to edit the post with the prices in mate as it might seem like you're trying to sell them on here. As for nobody buying them, you just have to be patient, Kryzs has just sold his and they've been up for months.

What a massive knob, shame it slipped out.

I would give the guy a call to make sure it's from a 180 otherwise it's a waste fitting it.
