  1. I always use super too, unfortunately there are no shell garages locally otherwise I would use that all the time. I use momentum or esso super, it seems to run smoother but that's probably in my head, it's definitely better mpg though.
  2. Cheers, it's getting better. I'd love to do a wire tuck really but I can't see that happening anytime soon.
  3. My new shiny bits (oil cap, solenoid cover and flush washers) arrived yesterday so they've been added and after a quick spruce up in the bay here's the better photos as promised. And wheel refurbishment is finally underway.
  4. No, you need 1 channel per speaker or set of components. Eg if the amp is 2x150w it will supply a pair of speakers/component set with 150w each or it can be bridged (taking the + feed from one channel and the - feed from the other) to make a single channel of 300w. If you want to amp a set of component speakers and a sub you really want a 4 channel amp with one pair of channels to the front components and the other pair bridged to the sub.
  5. No, frankly, you can run the front speakers using both channels of that amp or as you have it at the moment bridged to run the sub. To amp both you need another 2 channel amp or a 4 channel one to replace that. (2 channels running front speakers and the other 2 bridged to run the sub).
  6. Personally I don't like castrol, it seems to make the top end noisy. I use 10w40 mobil1.
  7. They are very tasty mate, nice one, transforms the look of the car. Canards look great too, you're a proper smart cookie eh!
  8. Some good progress then, let's hope that's sorted it.
  9. Are there lots of them or just a few? To be honest the turtle wax sticks for paint repair are only temporary and don't last very long, you'd be better off getting some touch up paint or try a repair kit like the scratchmaster kit from http://www.paints4u.com/
  10. Nice work, some good reflections. What did you use?
  11. If it was the CV I'd expect it to be a rumbling/grinding noise particularly on full lock, have you tried the car park test; find a biggish empty space where you can put full lock on and turn a complete circle first one way then the other.
  12. It's a shame about that course, any chance of getting it done elsewhere?
  13. Squeaking is unlikely to be CV, I would expect drop link or track rod.
  14. Nice pics, sounds like a fun day, 16.4 sounds like a decent time, if it wasn't for the drop out of iabs 1st to 2nd I'm sure they'd be much quicker 1/4 mile sprinters. The fogs look like they're in the right place but because the surrounds have been adapted to fit them they don't look as neat as oem, hardly noticeable though.
  15. Yep, with Grant Mitchell in the boot.

That's entirely up to you, just remember to add 15mm to the drop because of the shorter zs shocks. H&R are supposed to be pretty good.

There are differing opinions on this, I say buy for the MB as they will be correctly rated for the weight of your car.
