    Shocks for Mc2

i've got the same setup on mine as well, zs180 spring+shock's ,and the the zs 180 rear roll bar, which transform's a big wallowing estate in to a very good handling car, that can see of most other vehicle's
  4. my new mc2, 143k on the clock now, that remind's me, i need to get a cam belt sorted as it's only got about 6-7k left on it....
  5. well i've had a look around, but £240 quid for one isn't bad, but i'm looking for a 5th gear ratio of about 0.750-0.725 that should give me 2500-2750 rpm at 60 mph. which should give a good fuel return's on the long run and still keep the fun of 1,2,3,4. but on the other hand, what are they gonna want for a one off custom gear ratio? 300-350+ and then there is the other part's as well, cos when it's apart i may aswell go the hole hog and do the following carbon syncro's (175) good clutch lightened flywheel bearing's etc. i'd be looking at 700/800 just for that and then there's the doner box and anything else on top....... i think i'll leave it for a bit......
  6. cheer's for that, i'll look at that later, and as for the bike comment, i know, as soon as i get a spare bit of money, i'll be getting on my bike lol.....
  7. 1st one, oil, currantly running castrol 10/40 semi synthitic magnertech, but i don't do a lot of miles, (4 mile's each way to work). would i be better off on the next change going to one of the following; 5/30 fully synthetic 5/30 semi synthetic 5/40 fully synthetic 5/40 semi synthetic or do i just stick with 10/40 semi synthetic the other one is gonna be a bit of a new one the gear box.... been looking for data on any b-series gear boxes i can find. i'm looking at doing a internals swap taking the best bit's out of the ITR box, and trying to find a longer 5th gear to drop the rev's down when crusing at speed, at this time 60mph, your doing 3250rpm i'd like to drop that to about 2500-3000 rpm at 60mph. i can find gear ratio data for all the common integra/civic box's but can find any on cr-v/stream or anything else
  8. bungee cord for the bonnet? take it the catch is/has failing.....

  14. you have one clean motor mate and welcome to the club. i take it, that it is an mb1 sr?
  15. Function trumps fashion. remember that you can tow up to 750kg on your currant full driving licence so you may not need to take the trailer test.
  16. yeah they are bloody good, phoned 9am ordered it over the phone, in my hand's the next day.
  17. when mine packed up, it turned out to be the amplifer in the dizzy it self. i used these http://hondadistributor.co.uk/Default.aspx
  18. you so need to get it over to rich's place and get it on the roller's..... some people won't know what has hit them.....

  20. nice teg, take it you sold the civic, but what was up with the ma, for it to end up like that?
  21. short answer, no. d-series head is complealey different to b-series head
  22. just done a mid check on you old ma8, it's saying it's not insured, then did a dvla vehicle enquiry that said it could'nt be found. which may mean it's bitten the dust. if you've got an old mot or a copy of the v5 avaible to you you can find when it was last mot'ed.
  23. just ticked over 110000 miles the other day, still plenty of life in the old girl yet . and still below average mileage, . 112321 miles as i pulled up tonight. had a mercedes-benz E240 in for mot today on 33500 KM's (about 21000 miles) on a 2000 'V' plate, it was mint underneath, some may know that the merc "E" series are rot badly (that bad for a recall), by now an average E series, is scabby underneath, rust forming on the bonnet, door's, boot lid and arches. and that the brake pipe's have long been replaced with copper line's. this one was like new underneath not a speck of rust to be seen. i can quite safely say that "E" clas merc is probley the cleanest "E" class in the country... the key thing was it was imported from germany about a yr ago......
