Sounds very much like a fuelling issue mate .. but £264 per injector doesnt sound good at all ! Long story short i had several Kangoo vans a few years ago that i cleaned up and sold, they had injector problems, new costs were about the same .. But i found a place on fleabay that worked on re-con units and they did them for £90 per injector IIRC ..

They certainly come out easy enough mate. Whether or not you can test them by sight I'm not sure. Perhaps look at having them flow tested??

Ah shit mate that's crappy news!! One thing after another. If the fuel was that rank that came out of the filter I think you have to start with the injectors mate... There are loads of places that recon them.

Only issue with then are that they can be quite picky in who they let have them. I had one in glos, well I say I, I applied and was refused, then the wife applied and they gave her one!!

This is almost my mind set to be honest. Change them every 8-10 and keep the cheapo's Having said that, if Toms last 4 years, there's no difference! Performance wise, it's all placebo's isn't it!?! Wouldn't actually feel any different. May well run smoother.

Now I don't pretend to be a know it, in fact I know very little about this topic. But there have been numerous replies from knowledgeable people that have commented on threads, thought it might be a good idea to try n get it one place and perhaps make it a sticky! I think the age old questions are standard or iridium?? And brand, denso or NGK ??

I'm pretty sure the new 1 series uses a butterfly system on the back box. Maybe you could get an idea from that!?
