Cheers mate! It does sound really good! Not just the bass but the clarity on what these speakers give. Just need to wire up the front tweeters but I got to find crossovers for them. I wanted to keep the tow bar on there at first for towing the trailer. I only use it for carrying me and my mates jump bikes, but we use his van instead so it's pointless really...

Mr Brown's Project MB3- Front End Repair Underway
vtec2011 replied to Mr Brown's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
I never seen that pattern for sure. It could be Rover seats... -
I had another look today and it looks a bit like this: There is a bar going across connecting to the chassic with 2 big bolts each side. But the tow bar itself has no bolts. It's in one piece. I wouldn't mind keeping the bar on incase some knob-head hits the rear end of my car and could possibly write it off. It's a bit like a slam bar in the rear bumper But I would like to remove the tow bar and fit a tow hook

Ideal.. Maybe it's a different trim because you got a later Civic than mine. Who knows -

I bet it's pervertry driving that v-dub lol. Hope they get your ride sorted out soon and feel the power of vtec again -
Cheers mate! I will be removing the rear bumper soon to get rid off rust bubbles. Whilst it's off I'll have another look at the tow-bar and see what I can do. A grinder might be ready for it haha. I'm not a great fan of TSW's but these don't look bad, I only got them because they're very cheap

Wow sounds like you been busy! I can just picture what your car going to look like when it's resprayed and all bits and bobs put on. Sucks you got to do more waiting around but it will be worth it in the end I think tinted rear lights will suit your M nicely, goes well with the modded headlights -
Wow! Does look a lot better than I thought it be It will look sick when you do the panda headlight mod, proper mean...

Awesome! I love the VTi-S lip kits. Can't wait to see some pics
-
Or have the brakes red to go with the wheel nuts, but that's just being fussy.. I think it's looking nice, adding a bit of colour to liven the Civic up

Haha I did have twin 12" vibes running of a JBL monoblock amp. But I needed room so I put a single JBL sub in there..
-
Oh yes! 100x better!
-
Ye the headunit is cheap as chips! And the Kickers are only running of the headunit for the moment but I will soon hook them up to my 2nd amp when I get more speaker wires..

I put a D16 box on my D15 MB3 and the gearbox came from a EM1. Made a huge difference on 0-60! Problem is I don't get Eco mode now but oh well, can't have everything.. -
If I was rich.. You can tell me to write anything on a check for your VTi-S.. no questions asked

x2, clay bar will not remove scuffs or scratches, it picks up ingrained dirt like tree sap. If when you've cleaned your car you run your fingers over it and the paint still feels gritty it needs claying. Top job nick, car is looking Ah right.. My mate told me it removes surface scuffs like paint from walls/cars. Mmm.. I am still considering it as I touch my car alot
-
Because it been a nice day, thought I wash the car and install new audio Took some close up pics but the quality isn't great (phone HD camera) Thanks for looking I REALLY want to remove the tow bar.. But its all connected to the chassic in one piece. I wonder if its manufacturer fitted? Brand new headunit (Pioneer UM400) and brand new rear speakers (Kicker KS525) A mate gave me the speakers, brand new and sealed. Chuffed to bits!

Nice work, I bet it looks amazing in the sun.. If my car was clean like that I wouldn't drive it I'm thinking about getting clay bar for my M to get rid of the light scuffs around the bumpers
