thanks matey! i bet that was fun. although i think id have left it, i dont think i could bring myself to touch a nova .. Yeh it looks good i think its the lacquer that really makes it look good and hardly noticable.

Just give it ago sometime mate im sure it cant turn out that bad Yeh your probably right on the alarm. But as its not intefering with my new system im not/daren't touch it. I am totally useless with electrical jobs full stop and i think my mates got his hands full with it as is

Cheers dude! I think it all depends on what you want the end result to be. Im a tad ocd when it comes to stuff like that. I always want it as good as i can possible get it using the equipment and skills i have, even if it takes a little longer. He bypassed the old honda unit as far as i am aware. It never worked properly any way. But yeh we didn't even touch the old system.

Thanks for the comments chaps! Small update. Got the rear drivers side door shut in paint so just the rear quarter left on this side left to paint but i still need to get the paint for this as im going to spray it through the compressor rather than rattle can. Also my freind who is an auto electrician popped round to help fit ( mostly fit) the thatcham alarm he managed to bag me .i just needed to get new looms. It is all immobilised now and the alarm works just the other features left to do... window closing, central locking, courtesy light etc. He also owns the mint polo below

The 1.3 and 1.5 is aswell what came in the eg. what didn't have vtec? I always thought it was just an older style d series head......

X3 looks much cleaner on the 15s although i cant blame you for running the 17s for the price you payed. Still a bargain!!!

Paint time has started!!!! got my drivers door shut in base and laquer today the colour match is c**k on. Was half way through wet flatting the rear shut but packed it in, Me and my dad went to get a tig welder so that should be fun practicing with that! First coat of Silver And after a couple more And finished, laquered

Im really pleased with mine mate. Although i drilled mine further in than the original m ones Just to make sure they actually hit the lights and dont wash the rest of the car. Only by 20mm or so though

Update time again! My wheels i bought off of vtec maniac arrived today. Well chuffed suit the car alot more and make it look alot lower. Big Cheers dude! Went and got my paint for my door shuts had to get this mixed as no where had it so took my fuel cap off for a spot on match. Will be going clear over base with this with 2k laquer. Started to fit some accord light washers i bought ages back and fit the bumper suprisingly well. The rubber seal just sits over the bump strip like the original m ones, But IMO look nicer and have 2 squirty jets in each one rather than 1 Also picked up my flared ek side skirts i had fitted to my eg, So will be retro fitting these once sills are painted. Enough babbling here's some pics. Not down properly in this pic need to get the clips for the back that pull it to the bumper Went a little crazy with the pics

I cant remember off the top of my head mate (will double check the next time i go to the garage) but im pretty sure it was a dealer option fitted thing so cant see it intefereing.

Looks great. Love it when a cars just as clean underneath as it is on the body! iv'e decided to break my eg project due to time,money,mb,space so if theres anything you need give me a pm i Hope thats not against the rules.
