  1. That's quite extreme, hoping I don't have to go as far as replacing the entire door! Might see about getting a second carbon trim to replace so I can just go all out on it

I know how you feel! But try the shaft first, then if it's still doing it go for it
  3. I had three hammers to choose from yesterday, so tempted!
  4. I'd be more than happy to come to you dude! Even throw in some beer tokens too! Obviously get Christmas and new year out of the way first mind! I ran out of time yesterday to even start on the thermostat but I at least have the new one so hopefully will be able to drive down with some heat on
  5. I reckon the rear lip would complete it if you're sticking with the VTi bits, just so it doesn't look like it's higher at the back! Then colour code the sideskirts to blend in!
  6. Still quite annoyed to be fair, I think if I could con someone into helping me with the carbon trim and pulling the headliner down to deal with the sunroof drains I'd feel better about it. I've lost my confidence and will do to it! Don't even know where to look to replace the bit for the door handle linkage!
  7. She's still in better condition than my M for all intents and purposes
  8. Well as promised, some updates! I set out to repair the seat recliner, the center vents on the dash, replace the headunit, change the clock bulb, replace the window regulator and change the thermostat. First thing I noticed was my headunit was supposed to be sent out with a DAB glass aerial but I turn up with this instead.... I mean, what the 4uck!?!! So the headunit and dash clock have gone out of the window as I refuse to do the job twice! So anyway I managed to change the recliner, noticed the side bit of plastic had come away from the seat base a bit so a bit of brute force and that went back into place but still needed the new wheel so that went on and jobs a good'un! Didn't take any pictures though! Next up was the center vents which I got from 10000rpm! Unfortunately I couldn't even get the carbon trim off and I heard a few snaps, something fell into the ether as well and I'm left now with this..... So I gave up before I snapped the whole lot into pieces as I was starting to get quite p1ssed off, not to mention it was 4ucking freezing! Next I went for the window regulator, took the door card off and managed to damage the door handle linkage! Basically in the picture below, the green bit of plastic is meant to be one item.... So I carried on anyway, unpackaged my "new" regulator and it fell to pieces!! The stoppers on the runners were crap so the sliders were free to 4uck off at any point! So I had put it back together with the thought that once it's mounted it'll be okay! But could I 4uck get it mounted! Every time I maneuvered the mechanism to line up the bolt holes the sliders would fall off into the door! Quite literally blood, sweat and many swearwords later I gave up and have put the original item back in! Gutted!!! So now after 3 hours and quite frankly achieving 4uck all I'm left with this on the drivers door so that I can get out... Feels like I've gone one step forward and three steps back! I was absolutely fuming yesterday, rambling on about selling the car, setting fire to it and all sorts! Now that I've set fire to it, I'd still happily set fire to it
  9. The Accord finally went into hibernation on Saturday! One last photo before she was covered up, until next time my friend.....
  10. Never, we're always serious on Civic5!
  11. Doesn't weigh anything I have family in Melton so if anyone's interested I can help collect it as long as my fuel's covered!
  12. Common problem on a Saab though...least it's easier to deal with than on the Honda!
  13. You'll need to go further than the end of your street
  14. You wouldn't think so given how the M's deal with them, power to weight must be less than the M's or something?
  15. And the clutch slipping, every panel scratched or dented, curbs alloys and pink fluffy dice hanging on the rear view mirror! Yeah it's free dude!
  16. Yes mate brand new! You know I love a good hoon from the video meet
  17. Same, stopping, gentle and bwaaaaaaaah!!
  18. I bet the EP3 weighs more too which won't help it!
