I'd say a 'wee bit better' probably isn't worth the hassle of taking bits off your car that would then need colour matching to the other one.

Matt's Multiple MB adventures. Back to the G99P

Pretty bad then! New one looks clean! Same idea as the MB2? -
Looks nice and shiny! V-bands for the win too! (For ease of removal for your CAT)

Cable stretched or frayed?
-
Just one thing to note, the door handle cable is clipped on to the door handle itself, either green or white, you need to unclip it from the metal rod and then the hook will lift out. This is on the back of the door handles by the way. People tend to snap those but they're easy to do properly if you know about it. It's the red part on the above picture as an example. Hope this helps!

How bad was the damage that we can't see? -
There's no room for a human in the garage at mine! You have to step on things to get around!

Full? I can still see floor in there!

So hopefully decent condition for a short while longer then! -
I thought this was your project/build thread? Just put the updates in here

Looks super clean mate! Nice!

Sounds good! When I was watching the Mighty Car Mods doing the turbo conversion on an MX5, the TD04 came off a Subaru Forester and they used the flange off of the original down pipe when they were fabricating the exhaust.

I've got my next track day in two weeks at Donington Park!

Same! Never leave it in a gear facing downhill! Forward gears for when the car is facing up hill and reverse for when it's facing down hill!

Oops! -
Chrome trim at the back is screwed onto the numberplate recess, trim inside the boot needs to come out of the way to get at it but it's an easy and quick job
