Looks alright, not my cup of tea.
-
Can't get much thinner that's for sure! I'm sure my stone chips have stone chips!
-
I wasn't trying to come across negative about it, though I can see how it would. Just saying it's a lot of work. You'll definitely learn plenty from doing it
-
I would say go get it mapped properly on a dyno or live from anywhere else other than H Tune. Also changing the inlet changes the characteristic of the engine as it's completely different from the OEM one which has better low/mid range torque.
-
Colour looks awesome but the styling isn't what I would go for but kudos for the work! Engine build is going to be sweet! But a lot of work for 50bhp!
-
The ones I had also seemed to do a good job, but they didn't see many miles due to the rest of the car being generally shit!

He's seen the post too, slacker -
Nice, that FD is only a little different to the OEM spec EP3, though I guess with the power you don't need a 5.1/5.4 FD really else it'll just spin all the time.
-
Proper job then if it's gone for a few weeks! Nice!
-
Sounds good Mr B!

Think that's a dead sensor mate. @Dave, do you know the answer to the other question?

Nice! I think Tom is the only person to have properly abused his Mtec discs and not have a problem with them!
-
£1.50 charge just for paying, that's ridiculous! Hopefully that'll sort the sensor out!
-
I wasn't trying 116k on your little D series isn't worth worrying about. Also no point in trying to get more performance out of it on the cheap, either throw thousands at it in the form of a turbo conversion or just keep on top of maintenance and save up for a faster car. Don't fuck about with it if it's not broken.

Haha thanks dude! All @Dave's fault -
To be honest, if there isn't a problem with the car, I wouldn't worry. You're possibly searching for a fault that simply isn't there.

Next run we do up there should be good fun, you thought my car was quick then, the reconfigured gearbox makes such a difference! I keep getting asked what power I'm running and then shocked faces when I tell them the motor is standard! -
Bob and Dave both sucked from the same pipe work too!
-
So more stuff has arrived, road/wet set of Uniroyal tyres and short shifter. 4pot big brake kit has been ordered along with braided hoses. I have enough brake fluid left over from Bob to change Dave's
