  1. Yeah the rule seems to be thicker at the rear will help the front but makes the rear more lively and vise versa.
  2. There's nothing wrong with getting someone to fit it for you mate! Plus I agree, no need to spend loads on things like piping etc when it's all essentially the same, there's certain areas to spend more on than others.
  3. Probably not a massive difference really. If it was really cheap or free then I'd go for it just because you can.
  4. That's an easy 120 miles a week based on going to and from work once a day for five days a week.
  5. I think it would be a pass and advise provided it can still get through emissions etc.
  6. Stoptech kit is fitted! Along with a brand new set of Uniroyal tyres, which are proving to be really good this time of year! Bedded the brakes in using the method that Stoptech recommends and my god they are bloody good! Made me feel sick by the end of it There's a couple more jobs to do before the first track day but the big jobs are now done!
  7. We can't tell you which ones to replace mate, that's for you to find out by looking at them. You should be able to tell what torn rubber would look like if you saw it. Here's an example though.
  8. Sounds like you had a good time mate! Will check out the video later!
  9. You seem to rack up the miles mate! I'm sure your commute to work isn't that far is it?
  10. Useful stuff mate! I've pinned this thread so others may find it easily.
  11. Yeah don't be so cruel to it, use some revs but don't ride it and generally be gentle with clutch action for the first 100 or so miles and see if it's any better.
  12. Haven't cleaned the Type R now for a while! Too busy building the track car
  13. It'll see plenty mate! Six 20 minute sessions between me and Stef!
  14. Plus they don't seem to leak like MB's do
  15. Wow that's a real shame! I had no idea the two would be different!
