  1. As I had that problem sorted I started smelling petrol through the air vent for last couple of days. Pointed it out to the mechanic. Cleaned the fuel filter that I had bought from euro car parts recently and turned ignition on and we could see the petrol dripping from top of the fuel filter. He tried a few times to fit that filter but all in vain.. It just won't stop leaking. Luckily he still had the old one from my car in his recycling bin so he put that one back on just to check and not a single drop of petrol leaking.. So we have left that on for now and I have ordered an oem one from japserviceparts.com which should be here by Monday. I shared the civic5 saying with my mechanic 'buy cheap buy twice' and he was laughing lol
  2. I had a nightmare experience with euro car parts.. Don't think I will be buying from them again. So I got the thermostat from Honda and as soon as the mechanic put that one in we could tell the fitting was completely different from euro's one. This won't even come out if pull it with your hand whereas the other one just kept falling out. As expected sorted the leak problem straight away. I might still bleed the radiator following the guide just to make sure there is no air in the system.
  3. Ah great choice mate.. I saw the wheels on eBay and that was the only set in 4x114 in that color and it's a pretty unusual color
  4. Love it mate. Is it a straight fit into the existing mirror holder?
  5. Wow.. Have you bought these.. I am gonna make a wild guess without spoiling your surprise. Is it the set from eBay that was from Germany?
  6. Lol I mentioned that to my mechanic and he was laughing
  7. Got genuine one from Honda and the fitting was completely different.. The one from euro car parts kept falling out and the seal was slightly bigger than the space whereas Honda thermostat fitted perfectly as it was supposed to and didn't even wanna come out so no more leak
  8. If you are talking about the Thermostat mate..It's £27.96 including VAT but I will get that tomorrow morning as I can't take that leaking issue anymore..I just hope it stops with a thermostat change
  9. I got everything to be proud of mate..Leaking is an annoying issue but I am going to get thermostat from Honda Dealer tomorrow..If that doesn't solve the issue than it will be a serious problem.. I got the Led's for £1.99 plus I was stuck at work so couldn't get the problem resolved but I could fit the LEDs as it was quite on Sunday..No disturbance
  10. This is nothing compared to the Blue LED I had in the MB2..That looked like a proper disco in the car at night
  11. My nomination is @dr_broon 's clean vti deck.. Shows I have joined the deck club Build thread: http://civic5.com/forum/topic/1401-dr-broons-vti-deck/
  12. I was going to buy from their website direct but I just wanted to confirm this would definitely fit in mine. Also ordering timing belt kit and water pump from them.
  13. Damn it.. This morning got to work and looked underneath.. It's leaking again but not as much as last time.. I think the crap thermostat from euro car parts just won't fit .. Fed up of this damn leak already..
  14. I did a small mod today.. Connected two 48smd panels together and I love how it looks Cover back on So bright I love it.. Much better than the boring yellow standard bulb
  15. Copy and paste mate at the end of your post after the pics
  16. Yeah I got loads left still so shouldn't be a problem.. I would have waited to get it charged once but that thermostat was getting on my nerves so I had to do it
  17. For black and silver to work a few parts have to be black in the car..I preferred the color coded look on my car personally.. Have you got a rear lip to go on also?
  18. Looking amazing bro.. Love the look of dare alloys on your car.. And how she sits now
  19. Looking awesome mate.. Love how the wheels change the look of the car completely.. I can't even recognise it's the same car .. Very nice choice of wheels
  20. Great buy mate.. Looks clean.. Need more pictures though
  21. It was the thermostat seal..It wasn't sitting in properly..He took it out and tried fitting in properly but still it was leaking.. Finally he used sealant around the seal and it stopped leaking..I topped up the radiator fully this morning and went for a drive and no drip plus temperature stayed nice and steady..car warmed up properly also..so hopefully that's the end of that chapter
  22. Awesome pics mate..Love your deck..Get the remaining bits sprayed soon and it will look even better ..Those SMD bulbs look nice and bright..They should be better for number plate holders compared to the straight facing cree bulbs I got..Did you fit the rear spoiler yourself?
