  1. Instantly regretting posting that lol *wanders off to start my own classic, stanced, hellaflush, race, best French car picture thread..........and be the only person on it*
  2. At first glance I thought you'd posted a pic of a Renault 21 Turbo
  3. No more pics unfortunately. I'll take a couple more later though when I get home from work, if it stays sunny. I bought some new shorter bolts yesterday as well to try and get my fogs mounted properly but just ran out of time.
  4. I'd a day off yesterday so I'd the chance to do some more bits and bobs. Only two pics though. Sorry I gave the car it's second wash of the year, at 8:30am. It was so cold the soap suds were freezing to the car lolol Once the sun came out I gave it a wax and touched up a few chips and scraped with PB touch up paint. I also replaced my number plates with nice new ones that don't have any dealer or plate company details on it. Next up I put my ITR air box in. I'd bought a reducer pipe so it would fit to the intake and I think it looks rather well. I'm still not happy with it not sitting over it's original position so I'm going to order a reducer with a bend and see how that goes. I resealed the top corner of the passenger side windscreen and ran a humidifer in the car for a few hours to dry it out. There's still water getting in the boot from somewhere. I can feel moisture right when I run my hand along the left side of the car , so I'm going to reseal the light cluster and hope it's that rather than a boot seal.
  5. So many car makers now have a lineup of models of different sized clones of the same shape. It's great to see Honda release something that looks nothing like anything else. I wasn't so keen on the original testing pics, but if it comes out looking like that I'd actually seriously consider buying new. ( btw. oi moderators. There's already a thread on this )
  6. I was looking an ITR back box, but found this VTI one on eBay and starting to think I might put a cheap one on it for now to shut it up. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290967716234?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Bit of an odd question, but what's the tail pipe look like from on yours standing behind the car? I know it's not chrome or anything smart but is it clean enough looking for what it is?
  7. lol I'm only messing of course. I think you and I are heading in a similar direction with our MBs though. Where did you pick up your back box from? Was it a one-off cheapo?
  8. Congrats dude *gritted teeth* Really though It'll look well, and I wouldn't have left them black either if I'd been able to get them. Saying that, I hope your car falls apart on the way there, like a clown car at the circus.
  9. I KNOW WHAT THAT'S FOR AND I HATE YOU RIGHT NOW!
  10. Has anyone found a new ITR back box for sale anywhere online? I've no clue how much they are, but see there are standard VTI ones going for £40-£50 on eBay. I can't find any standard ITR back boxes advertised on any of the usual car parts sites. I've the feelers out for a used one to try but if a new one isn't much more than a VTI back box it might just be tempted with a new one. Merv, any idea how your ITR back box hung so low? I take it the hangers weren't modified and moved to fit the MB?
  11. Nice one Mikey. Wish I'd seen these before I bought my Illuminators as those look much better. Any chance of a close up shot of the fogs in position?
  12. I'd just like to clarify that my problems are not related to my man sausage
  13. Yeah Weetabix sprinkled with steriods ffs! I think if I got it forced on I would never be able to get it off again to change the filter I'd seen Tom's drainpipe in his thread, as his was the only one I'd found pics of. Great to see how you did yours too.
  14. I took the ring off and did my best to squeeze it in. I even put a little smidge of grease around it, but it's about half an inch too small and just wasn't playing ball How the hell did you get yours on?!? lol Hopefully this reducer will make things easier. I'd also like to get it closer the hole where the original air came in. I was gutted as I was looking forward to getting it down the road.
  15. So I tried to fit my ITR airbox last night. I didn't realise the intake pipe from the air box to the engine is smaller (pretty sure I'd read on here it was the same size) I also didn't realise how far out the fixings are ( Black reducer pipe ordered and I'm going to have a rummage round the garage later for something to make a couple of brackets out of. I also need to take a trip down to my local DIY shop to try and find a pipe or something to bring the air up to the bottom of the air box.
  16. I love these and would own one tomorrow if I could. They hold their money really well though
  17. Bit of a late congrats on the new van My mum has a Mazda 3 Sport saloon and to be fair the interior is lovely and well put together. Stereo is great on it too.
  18. Smart looking colour. Full Honda service history is a nice little bonus too. I can't imagine too many of these still get looked after at a dealers.
  19. I'm thinking something exactly the same for mine. I'm hoping it would keep the noise down for normal driving but also a nice enough flowing system
  20. Looks good so far I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished. Not sure what I think about the plans for the wheels but then again I don't have that sorta vision, and I know you eventually want to change them.
  21. lolol I won't take any responsibility if it doesn't fit Hopefully someone else on here might be able to help So don't hate me.......although if I find out mine needs replaced I might take a punt at it myself if you haven't ordered yours in the next few weeks
  22. Found the boot seal too for the hatch. £64.52 http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-CKE100800 http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/mg-rover/mg-rover-cke100800-seal-tailgate/ £56.91
