  3. Lol confused me too! Haha but I suppose it does make sense, a bit lol Bad luck on the alternator but the new seats ect will look fresh, what set you going for, full leather?

  5. You going to respray the WHOLE mirror units or just the mirror covers?
  6. On the rover deflectors, do we have to take a little notch out in the fronts for that random block of plastic?
  7. Cheers lads... Steering away from the bumper... Are these the right deflectors for my deck?? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=140961358049

  12. Yeah I'll get some pics if I remember maz, need to find all my lip bolts first haha!! Only drill holes if the lip still has the lugs on them, they snap off easy and don't want holes for no reason
  13. It will indeed as I will be doing clutch some point this year myself! . And maybe a box refurb while its out too!
  14. You can't go back now jake! Rub down first silver coat today and put second coat on... Looks like it's going to come out alright you know lads!!
  15. Do in other words, your a 'Jake of all trades!' Leads look sweet mate! Better than my blue twisted efforts!
  16. I'm led to believe that filler primer has a bit more substance to it, so it fills tiny pin hole imperfections better than a normal primer so I usually use a mixture of primers! More progress!
  17. @ammarbm - cheers, really that's what I always wanted to do from the start, then I saw your MB2 progressing and I thought DAMN! I'm deffo going with this theme!! Lol... A layer of filler primer today then hopefully first colour on tomorrow! @Krzys - thanks, that's a hole for a lip lug, there's one each side and a securing clip goes on the reverse when the lip is on @KiNK43 - the bare plastic bits are hard to deal with as they have no stick to them... After cleaning off the first rubbed down coat, some primer pulled off from the black bits! But I just need to be more careful! ... I've got 2000 grit now anyway and a selection grit pack too for between layers so hopefully comes up ok!
