    Cheers man! Taking it slower now to save a bit of cash for some coilovers. The filter is probably going to end up either in my next car or on eBay. It looks terrible but it does make a nice noise!

    I found out the ricer cone can fit on the piping if I really tighten the hose clamp so it's almost oval. Figured I might as well fit everything on the car now and just swap cones when the new one comes. Got boost? She sounds fantastic on VTEC now. Sounds exactly like an Integra GSR. Can't wait for the new cone so it's getting more air.

    They didn't give one. I assume the one in the box was damaged or got pinched and they shoved this random cone in its place to try and hide it.

    I've sorted things out with the seller. They're sending me the correct filter now. At least I hope it's the correct one. We'll see when it arrives! Now I have a random BOV cone that I'll probably keep spare for my next car.

    So I purchased a Tenzo R induction kit off eBay and it arrived today. Opened it up and the cone supplied is not only the wrong size for the piping (so big that tightening the clamp does nothing!), but it's not even a Tenzo R cone! It looks like a fake BOV! Yuck! Messaged the seller already. Hope it's just a mistake and they can send me the correct cone. If not I'll get a partial refund and buy a less ricey looking cone that fits.

    Will you be getting a normal respray or will you be taking the chance to colour code all the plastics?

    People buy a hot hatch, wear out the tyres, then take it to Average Joe's Tyres who tell you a proper set is £70 per tyre and budgets are only £50. Some people take the budgets not thinking about performance.

    At least you're alright and the Aerodeck is still moving! I have a love/hate relationship with my MB3. I've stopped modding it now because all sorts of crap keeps happening to it. I'd suggest doing the same with the Aerodeck for a while and see how things go. Treat it as an A to B car for a while and see if your confidence comes back with it.

    When I stayed in Stratford for a month in 2009 I witnessed a police chase end right on my aunt's doorstep. Ford Galaxy smashed into the wall with a bunch of coppers behind it.

    Same thing happened to my MB3. Not a great thing to wake up to.

    Take the connector off the fan switch and bridge the connections using a paper clip. If the fan comes on it's probably the switch itself.

    It's funny because at Santa Pod, there was .2 seconds in it between the 325i and the MB6? It's after 120kmh that the 325i can keep up the pull. We shall have funs.

    Yeah that was when I realised my fan wasn't coming on. Something is is what?

    Not once! Yes the temps got a bit high in traffic but I'd always turn her off and once we were moving the temps would go right back down to normal.
