So over the weekend I replaced the thermostat with the DC2 one I bought and also discovered that when I got the air conditioning removed, the mechanic forgot to plug my radiator fan back in! That explains some things. Anyway now that my cooling system is all done I've noticed that my MB6 now warms up in 5 minutes, not 10 like it used to. Is this because the DC2 thermostat works differently to the MB6 one? They do look different to each other. The MB6 one was stuck open!

ProSport is a decent brand as far as eBay goes, the wing should be safe to replace. -
Buying a beaten up car means you can just replace the smashed parts with aftermarket ones. Easy way into modding.

Roj's Mean Green No Fire Trucks Given Machineâ„¢ (Rust In Pieces)
Roj replied to Roj's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
I went to buy some stop/tail bulbs for the MB6 so I could get the JDM conversion started. "You're posting this in the wrong thread!" Nope, keep reading. Whilst they were in my hand I thought why not try them in the MB3. Fitted them, wedged the brake pedal down with a stick and a strange redness emitted from the rear! The brake lights have returned like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2! I swore I already tried this and failed! Apparently all my spare bulbs are blown. Good to know. I hadn't actually tried the MB6's bulbs back then because I couldn't be arsed popping the clips to pull back the boot lining. Probably should've been arsed now that I look back. Anyway I left the bulbs in and bought another set for the MB6's JDM conversion. So that's a major issue fixed! So with out out of the way, I'm thinking just how bad is the rust and how much is it to sort out? The arches I can just fill and prime to hide the rust but the sills are pretty bad. -
Oh I feel you there mate. When I had to get new front tyres for the MB3's 16's I almost cried. Rears are going bald now but it's cheaper to just buy a set of 15's!

New shoes for the missus? Typical. Jokes aside, what's spurred the swap? Just fancied a change?

So the Sport really does have some kind of performance advantage over the other models. My 1.5 LS has tiny rear disks!

There's a cheap Simota one on eBay but it has to come all the way from Malaysia first! DC2 airbox for flow, Whale p***s for noise. Either one is better than the standard MB airbox anyway! -

I'm looking for a Whale p***s for my MB6. So far it looks like I'm going to end up being shafted by Tegiwa prices. -
You have a 12" subwoofer. Use it.

According to Cyberspeeds, the front of ours is the same as EG and DC2 and the rears are the same as the EF, EG, EK and DC2. I hear good things about D2 apart from the price. Was hoping I could spend a little less on a lesser known brand but with the same quality. After I get it the suspension and camber arms I'm going to go get a fast road setup with maybe 1 or 1.5 degrees of camber.

Right guys with any luck I might be the lucky owner of some Koni Street dampers with lowering springs soon. I know when you lower an MB you get some rear camber so I'm going to need some camber arms to go with them. Can anyone recommend a good set for a good price? I'm not going to stance it so having 5 degrees of camber isn't necessary, but I will be flinging the car around bends so they need to be able to cope with that.

The important thing is the wheels themselves are straight. The center caps will get done and then I'll have to get some red Honda H decals.
