According to to krzys' post we should all have amber beacons on our cars seeing as they are purpose built B road testing machines! (Ivi)
-
very curious to hear about the result, ive been singing MeisterR's praises to anyone who will listen since i got mine, but it would be nice to have some hard evidence lol
-
Yeh, my pocket mechanic confirms, he is fairly sure they are all the same accross the B-seiries range
-
No idea sorry mate however ive got a friend who's brilliant with these engines, ill try and get a hold of him for you
-
didnt see the update till tonight but yeh mine looks good for the size, let me know when you know what the postage is going to be @Grant
-
well if its road legal again then i dont see it being an issue for the sale, and as far as selling on here, you have enough posts to become a member
-
to be honest dude, see what it takes to get her road legal again, did they say specifically why it was a Cat D? usualy if its only cosmetic it goes down as a Cat C which is dead easy to fix, mine got writen off as a Cat C a year ago and all i had to do was MOT it early and then pay VOSA 45 quid for the pleasure of making it road legal again and if you still want to sell her after that you will be more likely to get what she is worth
-
cool, Ill transfer you the 18 now then so you can buy it. When you know the postage we can sort it out Edit: Sent (XL Zipped please, cant remember if i said that already)
-
any idea what an 1 XL zipped + postage will cost yet @Grant ?
-
Let me know when you get postage figured out, I'm not going to make it to JF sadly
-
if i recall the EG LCA's are fatter or something so you need spacers or to pack out the forks with washers if you dont use the LCA's from the EG, the DC2 is loop eye fitment so you need the DC2 LCA's but it will fit if you have them
-
if you go for DC2 (and EG i think) you need to swap the LCA's as well, also as far as i know meister has started doing finance plans if thats something you could do
-
totaly get that and its the most money ive ever spent on a car in a single upgrade but I dont regret it for a second, best thing ive ever bought, also theres a discount for club members if you get the code from the sellers section of the forum
-
I Had Koni shocks and springs (not coilovers) on mine before i got the Meisters and they were bloody awful, would never have anything from koni ever again, putting the meisters on it totaly transformed the car. another one i would avoid now is D2 coilovers, a mate of mine has them on his DC2 and even on the softest setting they are really crashy to the point of being undrivable on some roads
-
@Chandler If..... (unlikely as this is) horror of horrors, something happens and for whatever reason you end up with a spare set let me know ^^
-
I'm definatly in on this, Ill go with the majority on it although i probably will acctually wear it outside of shows and stuff, so wouldnt mind premium but seing as most people want the basic ill go with that! will probably need to be an XL for me, zipped if possible Edit: I agree with everyone else on the wheel thing in the graphics

b****r, wish i hadnt missed this >.<

A mate of mine is selling me his old 16" Teg wheels cheap, and after some rough maths, i think it was 205/40/16 will give about the same rolling diamiter as my 15" fanblades so ill report back once its done (hopefuly next month)

dont know about the SMX engine, but ive seen the bottom end out of a CRV go for 500 ish, no idea which B20 is in the CRV though
-
ive seen people fit ASR braces on an MB, it does require drilling new holes in it but it can be done

Meet Roxy! Daves Honda Civic TypeR FN2 (UPDATE: Roxy waving goodbye to Civic5)
Dougie replied to Dave's topic in Other cars
you could also look at dark ice designs for the wind deflectors, they make stuff for MG's and Rovers, last time i looked the deflectors for the ZS were very resonably priced- 340 replies

Agreed, I remember seeing a clip of senna 4 wheel drifting round a corner at full pace in the p**sing e rain with big rooster tails at the back of the car, nothing quite like it these days
