yeh they gave me the money and the car, i got a new bumper from a breakers yard for 12 quid and I had to re-MOT it and then take it to the nearest VOSA testing place to have a VIC check done and then it was road legal again, Mine was a Cat C wright off, which is what they use for cosmetic damage only edit: the VIC check cost about 45 quid if i remember correctly, and obviously the cost of the MOT

mine is a 2000 T reg with about 97k on it at the time, yeh that is taking the p**s a bit, why dont you ask adam about a new wing? i bet he has loads lying around

small update, finaly got round to tweeking the ride hight a bit, sitting much nicer now, what do you guys think? On another note i FINALY managed to get some poly bushes ordered by way of www.Strongflex.eu I will report back with more once i have them

my insurance gave me 1k for mine, said it wasnt worth any more than that

something like this happened to me a few months back, usually what happens is the insurance company will pay out on the value of the car and then offer you the chance to buy back the car for 20% of the value, however with mine they said they didnt see any salvage value in the car for them so they gave it back to me for nothing! so keep your fingers crossed.

ok, after some digging and buying the wrong thing a couple of times, i have established that an M8x30 fits although it probably needs some thread lock on it

ok guys, ive lost one of the bolts that hold on the brackets for my front ARB, does anyone know what size they are? I need to get a replacement ASAP but not sure what it is..... I "think" it might be an M10 but im really not sure

ive got a mongoose decat-back on mine with the standard manifold and you can definatly hear it on mine, you hear a change in noise with both the vtec and iab's but you feel more of a kick in the power when you get to 6k and the iab's come into play my guess is that the ECU is making more of a difference than you realise, it could be that the vtec crossover is set at a different point on your p30 or that the iab's are dissabled so you are getting the full whack when the vtec engages -
yeh, dont want to loose the LSD, as nice as the ratios would be on the strip at crail ^^

small update, the b****red box isnt acctually an s80, its a y21.... yeh not sure ill bother

yeh thats what i thought, im not sure whether its a 4.4 or a 4.7 though, its a mate of mine whos tegs gearbox just packed in and he thinks its the LSD, he has already got a new one to go in and offered me the old one (the thinking is that the LSD from my s9b could go into it and get it working again)

Ill second what @Grant said, make sure its someone that is gonna look after her, and prefferably someone in the club (even if you have to make a new member out of them..... tbh you should make that a condition of the sale that they have to be or become and active member)

If done properly you can get a fairly astonishing amount of power from a b18 turbo setup, before it goes in the car would be a perfect excuse to do the internals
