Well, here's the build up of my first MB6. Only had her 5 days and already i'm in love with her!!! lol Oh, and she's been officially named Ruby! Goes with her Ruby red paint (ok, I know it's sicillian red!! ) I'm no stranger to M's have had my MA8 civic (blue Betty!) for around 5 years! Right, heres the info on her when I got her. 1998 S-reg sicillian read pearl 39,000 miles Full service history, 2 owners from new (Honda being the first, up to 6,000 miles, then the owner I bought her from at 38,500 miles) standard appart from A/M remote alarm imobiliser with ultrasonics (NOW REPLACED WITH NEW UPGRADED CAT 1 SYSTEM), detachable towbar (proper one from Honda , which will be coming off!) My Plan is to make her a VTiS replica, but in met red, instead of pirates black. So here she is This was on the way home at some motorway services (I spy Dawns aerodeck in the background! ) First mod was to ditch the orange side indicators for nice clear ones Next, it was onto the interior. She's spotless inside, but still gona give her a good clean, so heres how she looks now....I'll post up another once she's been fully valeted The one part of the interior that I wanted to change asap was the stereo! Was a pioneer good bit of kit in it's day, but i like me Cd's and MP3's so out it came and in its place, my Pioneer mp3 head unit (keeping it kinda oem, as it's still a pioneer ) And thats all the mods so far...........but there will be more to come. She's getting a full VTI-S body kit, VTI-S alloys (early style ones) poss tints, and a few other bits and bobs. Heres some pics of how she looks now after a wash! MODS SO FAR: Smoked side indicators Pioneer MP3 head unit (iPod compatible) (UPDATE: Now Alpine CDE9850Ri CD/MP3 with full iPod control)(Update again, now got a new Pioneer DAB/CD/USB head unit!) Powerflow Stainless steel exhaust (cat back) VTiS lip kit (side skirts still to be fitted) VTiS floor mats VTiS gearknob VTiS Speedline chrono alloys fully refurbed and powder coated in white ) TypeR Gear gator with red stitching Full leather (from ES model) fitted, along with the black door cards Honda horn (peep peep) removed, replaced air horns Lowered on Full MeisterR Zeta S coilover suspension

As you all probably know iv bought burbleboys vti-s and very happy with it glad to be back in a Honda. Plans are to just drive it for a while as it's already sorted, save for a turbo kit next summer (possibly!) taking fly-eyes off as there just not my thing.

Hello all, I’m new to the forum so will give you a little back ground about me, Spent years playing around with various cars, bikes quads etc and never really had anything very fast. In the summer we went for a rolling road day at a tuners in Leicester and got talking with the owner and he convinced me to build a civic turbo. So when I left there I spent weeks and weeks searching the internet for information on Honda’s, let me tell you if you’re not used to Honda’s its very confusing with all these Ek, Eg, Ej, Mb, Ma, etc etc I then came across a lovely clean Mb6 Aerodeck 1.8 Vti and thought would make a great sleeper, as well as coming with Lsd, 1.8 Dohc as standard. Got the car for just over £1300 with full extensive service history so I was quite pleased in the end. I then took the car to the tuners for a rolling road for a health check and power run, It made 163 Bhp which is not bad considering its only lost 7 hp in 15 years, ( and has a slight exhaust blow ) Once confirmed that car was ok to start building i began to write a list of parts needed, based on what i got told i needed and normal replacement parts such as cambelt kit etc. That list over the last 6 weeks has just got longer and longer. I planned on getting it to 300 bhp, and then wanted to make sure the engine was strong enough to be used on a daily basis and now we are looking at making it a 500bhp car. Thanks for looking more pictures to follow

One night i was in north London Edmonton and was given a ride home by a friend. He had a pirate black Aerodeck 1.8 vti,he took me from Edmonton to Islington and needless to say i was bitten by the "HONDA" bug. i couldn't believe the performance of this family estate...................... Next came the fast and furious and that was it,i wanted a MB6,but all my friends had pirate black MB6 so i wanted to get a different colour and after months of looking at MB6s i found a white MB6 in leeds..................(full story when you see me) my first mod was new wheel studs on all 4 wheels, this is the car as standard in 2007 .

Current State: Original post & how things looked when I first got the MB! (so much has changed ) Hey all, Just wanted to post some pics of my latest addition. Super stoked and excited to get started with some subtle mods etc. Picked it up a couple weeks ago, only had 1 owner from new, 51,000 genuine hpi, dealer and M.O.T backed miles!!! with a full, and I mean every single stamp for its age service history from a main Honda dealer! Couldn't believe how clean the car was underneath / arches etc. Drives like new and has had no expense spared. Couldn't have asked for a better start for a project. Hoping to start with some small things like some new mats, skunk2 gear knob, clear side repeaters...that kind of thing. then looking to upgrade the brakes, suspension and Chassis. Once all thats sorted I'll take a look at the drivetrain, As after giving it a good couple runs I was thinkin that I want just a little more out of it. don't get me wrong, Im very pleased with the performance as it is and I love the sleeper vibe it has, surprises lot of people which is why I deffo want to keep the body stock over changing for the VTI-S kit. But I figure a stage 2 clutch, flywheel, Full exhaust incl headers and cat, decent CAI, Skunk2 Inlet mani, Cams and a map along with a couple other supporting mods would go along way in making the car stand out from the crowd and keep me satisfied for a good while. Anyway will keep things posted as I get on. Love The Colour It goes in the Sunlight!

it's about bloody time, i got this started.... for those who don't know this is the history of the car --->http://www.civic5.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=7121 and as for the last currant post was this on the 8 april 2012. it's taken me 8 month's to start it... right. bought it from chris, but i think it was the worst kept secret on the forum right photo's... i don't seem to of have the best of luck with her at time's. i had some twat rip the front lip off the car, but thank's to krzys for a replacement i've had th rear number plate go missing in lincoln but i've found that horrible rattle that chris couldn't find.... i'll get i picture of it tommorow, as it's in for mot. (it'll pass, one way or another.. ) now do i shove £20 note's under the brake line's... as a project, i didn't have any really direction to go with her. so i when i got it back to work, i did an oil change and enjoyed her for what she is. as the most epic estate car of all time of course... many people took one look at it and laughted at it..... untill we went for a spin  and then they under stood what it was all about..... and with it having a towbar (rear chassis brace for the non believers ) it's has it use's... towbar mounted bike rack... pulling trailer's.... well i didn't want all that crap in the boot..... i've done a few bit's to it such as mud flap's from weetec. to help reduce the amount of shite up the side of the car... and some sticker's WACK11111 and what not. but i have got plan's for it though.... it has some thing to do with this.... and this... that's all for now, i might up date this once/twice a year though...

Well my girlfriend has the Aerodeck VTI and I have the VTI-S, I've started a project thread on mine so thought i would do one from hers seems as though its getting a few bits on it now, bought couple of years ago on about 113k (now on 128k) Work Carried out. Started off needing a release bearing so changed that and the clutch and a service, then it was undersealed, then i bought a VTI front splitter, then the ARB drop links, then i bought a VTI-S lip kit, then someone reversed into it and it got a new door and wing (poorly sprayed), then brake lines front to back, then another service, then front shocks, then tracking, then back box, then manifold and cat, then it got some 15" Fanblades with near new Toyo T1R tyres. Probably missed stuff but will edit later. Next week im picking up a few new parts for it Rear trailing arms with new bushes, JDM rear LCA's, Silver door, Silver wing, Rocker cover, Future Plans OEM DC2 Suspension, Exhaust (currently winning one on ebay, and will be putting my stainless manifold on when i go H2B), Fog Lights (see what plastic alternatives i can fit), Rear passenger arch repair (slight bit of surface rust but still solid and undersealed), Top arms, Removal of resonator box, Service. How i bought it... Then i bought a VTI lip Then I bought a VTI-S lip kit Undersealing! Under the Sideskirts before undersealing! Damn Exhaust! =/ His and Hers New Rocker Cover tracking had to get done New wheels Little one Cleaning the wheels lol Selfie My girlfriend got involved and changed her own wheels (can just see the surface rust which hasn't changed in two years lol but i undersealed the lip and inside) Before and after.

Hi all as mentioned in my newbies thread I've just got back into another aerodeck, however this one being an mc2 as oppose to the old mc1. Here's how I got her from the previous owner. And when I got her back home. Proper filthy but when the weather breaks and I get some free time she will get completely cleaned and detailed everywhere. So far she's got ATR recaros fitted. Also got a spoon n1 replica to go on and a pipercross viper to be fitted as soon as she's cleaned up. Currently running toyo t1r's all round too so she handles beautifully. My first mod done is the remote fob now having xbox 360 buttons as the original rubbers had gone So that's the story to now having owned her for 24 hours haha. My list of plans are as follows Clean everywhere Source the water leak filling the spare wheel well Fix the sticky front windows as they are soooooo slow Fix all dents and scratches. ( she's not going to win any beauty contests like she is at the moment) Service/ poss strip down and replace all seals and gaskets and cam belt, pump etc. re bush everything Adjustable camber arms rear anti roll bar Exhaust system Spoiler extension (will do a how to on this) Eventually go for some more power but undecided on the N/A or forced induction route yet. Thanks for looking guys and girls and if you see me around or are ever up in Rotherham/ Sheffield give us a shout and we can meet.

My Honda Civic MB6 1.8 VTI-S (Modified) Welcome to my pride and joy, this car was built in my garage starting in January 2012 and concluding in July 2013. I've always wanted to build a car from scratch, the bare shell all the way up and this was my opportunity to do it and do it my way. In 2011 I built a Civic VTI (the blue one) pretty much refurbished the whole car but didn't go anywhere near the attention to detail that I've paid on this one. Unfortunately I crashed that car (hence the pics at the start of the album) so from the ashes of that crash I stripped the car and kept all the bits scraping the old chassis. I then purchased a genuine Civic VTI-S from a guy in Salisbury, the car was in fairly good condition with no major damage and ran well - this I thought to my self would be the building block for my plan! Over the next 18 months the car was gutted and the whole chassis and body was rubbed down,re under sealed and prepped ready for paint. All the suspension and brakes where fitted before spraying with all components being carefully removed,re sprayed and re fitted or replaced with new or uprated parts. The vehicle was sprayed championship white, trailer'ed back to my garage and the rest of the rebuild continued..... The album shows a step by step guide to my journey through 2 winters which where not nice to work in! Dozens of cuts scars and self inflicted injure's and a very forgiving and understanding girlfriend to reach what I wanted to achieve. I've loved building her despite all the ups and downs and I'm kinda glad it's now done but with all projects - there never truly finished....... I hope you all enjoy my build thread There are more pictures on the link in the newbies section when i first said hey....
