dr_broon
just realised I haven't said what what it is.. it's white sticky vinyl sheet. I tried making templates by doing a 'brass rubbing' (scribbling over the H with paper and a pencil) and tried pressing tin foil into the indentation to get the shape, but in the end just stuck a bit of vinyl over it, pressed it into the shape and then trimmed it with a scalpel.I think that I could have used something a bit sharper to press it in to the corners to get a better cut, so might redo it at some point.
