KiNK43 Posted May 13, 2015 Author Share Posted May 13, 2015 been busy tonight got the box sorted and all sealed up.Cleaned the case out best I could and cleaned up the mating edges.Knocked out old bearing and removed seal gently tapped new seal in using rubber mallet and 32mm socket.carefully tapped in new input shaft bearing with block of tiiimmmmbbberrrrr. cleaned, oiled and reassembled the shift mechanism and other bits n bobs.had a cuppa and put the case back on checking that it selects all the gears. So far so good that's all for now until sealant is dry I'm not tipping it in case oil comes out and disturbs sealant.so basically this is my previous gearbox which was whiney and had a bad 2nd gear that locked out at high Rpm. I have fitted the countershaft from last gearbox which had a working 2nd gear and a new input shaft bearing. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
