Hmmm I wouldn't pay £50 for a genuine front lip let alone a fiberglass copy! Some people sell whole kits for only £100 (£25 per lip/skirt) and you know they'll fit straight on!3 points

Thanks for the comments chaps. I Finally got a complete vti-s kit, sprayed it and got it fitted. Also put some fly eyes on the headlights. Comments welcome3 points

I actually did do that, was showing off to the mrs after I'd been trying to make it work, I said 'watch I can make the engine turn over from in the house' To which I set it off for the car to promptly lunge forward just missing the outer sitting room wall Oops:)2 points

I don't know anyone on here in my area too... Living right at the bottom of Cornwall away from everyone and pretty much everything haha. Not easy getting car parts too! Oh and guess what, I fitted the D16Z6 manifold on my car today and.... WOW! What a difference in sound! More raspy but not over the top. Even the mechanics at work were very surprised on how she sounds like now. So that's the cat gone, it's all straight through at the front end of the exhaust system. I have got a couple photos but no videos YET! I will try and upload the photos later as I'm using my mates pc..1 point

Thanks buddy..I had't seen a blue wrapped and sprayed manifold before either so wasn't sure how it would turn out...but loved it once it was fitted ...once it has settled down properly and the color has all disappeared from the wrap..I will give it a fresh coat as it's covered in grease stains from my mechanic friend when he was installing it ..Rocker cover was very easy to remove and spray..wish i had done it earlier1 point

Thanks Mr. B..I am very satisfied with the bay .I never expected it would look like this so quickly..but a few bits sprayed and specially that manifold made such a huge difference ..keep your eyes opened though for a few more bits coming up for the engine bay..would look even better1 point

The remote start would benefit our cars though..saves us having to warm the engine up before you can use the vtec. Can be useful when jumping straight in and flooring it!1 point

Update: After i topped up the oil (it was 10w40 btw, totally forgot) it was fine and has been since saturday. The oil filter was changed in the service and i think it was to do with that, as mentioned above. Will keep an eye on the oil every week and on the dipstick it is reading as just under max. Still have a little bit of oil left from the 5l. So i know next time if i change the oil filter, it will require a little more than 4 litres. Thanks for the guidance guys .. As soon as the weather clears, there will be more pics of the vti-s as i have made a few minor changes!1 point
