Wow it's amazing how far a thread can progress in a few hours of not being on! Electric pffft it's all a crock of shit. False advertising and leading people into a false sense of security. As has been said, the emissions just to get them on the road is ridiculous. Then there's the pollution that's going to be created in making the infastructure to support them country wide. Oh and did I mention that the 'clean' electric they use to fill it up is 88.6% produced from fossil or unrenewable energy anyway.

A question was asked: "Dose anyone know if you can get such a thing as uprated trailing arms" To which I replied: "I don't think so" (as in; I don't think there is such a thing) comma "I've not seen them" (as in; I have not seen any of those of which you speak). There's a perfectly clear comma in the middle thus dismissing any notion of double negatives. Now roll yourself a fat one and chill out.

Cheers dude! I'm just impressed I managed to do it on my own! Trying to arrange fetching the other set of wheels I want! Then that's the "winter" and "show" sets bought and I can then sell the 15's! Both sets will be getting colour changes but the "show" set are in a good way and can go straight on as they are to help me out!

Pheeeww. My stencil was ropey so pretty chuffed it came out right. Anyway gonna book a day off next week for intake etc. Then again the next week. Then some mapping action very soon. Promise some progress next week!!

And I bet that BMW set them back what, £25k plus??The solar panels however, yeah I get that idea and in their case it's a win win for them for sure. Can totally understand their decision. You say the BMW plant is powered by wind, you mean the oxford plant? That's all well n good, but the panel production plant in Swindon isn't lol. And the lorries that drive the parts too n fro ... I'd love to know if BMW and other electric cars makers, have produced a detailed analysis of how much 'bad' energy is used in the production and manufacturing and how long the electric car would have to run compared to an internal combustion engined car to make a difference. Oh and an important part I forgot, what about all the line workers farting all day while working!? I was one of them (in both honda & BMW) that's enough methane to make a rugby pitch size hole in the ozone every shift! Ha

So many car makers now have a lineup of models of different sized clones of the same shape. It's great to see Honda release something that looks nothing like anything else. Oh for sure I've had plenty of opportunities to ditch Honda. But they are awesome fun cars and they do hold there own against the big boys. I been on the bumper of a 650i upto 150mph odd. Amongst other things that have been spanked. And not much would touch the eg/ek in the corners with a half decent setup.

It's over fueling on over run mate. Supposed to keep the turbo spooled when coming off the throttle. Looks pretty crazy. My mate who likes his subarus had it on his last bug eye. Sounded pretty insane

me 2 unfortunatly i dont like electric cars they cause way more emissions getting made than they are trying too prevent, i say honda have got it right with hydrogen fuel cell tec that they are working on in california it way better n you can convert older engines to it

Lol I'm only slagging It seems a much more relaxed forum compared to others I'm on who'd string you up for not searching first, even if their search page is rrrrubbish. A hybrid system like the 918 would be amazing and something I'm sure we'll see in one of the next Type Rs. No more jokes about lack of torque I actually can't wait to drive a car that will have a respectable amount of instant power available. Hopefully we'll get normal priced cars like that in the next decade.

Those bolt grip sockets got to be worth a go... Before getting well involved with drilling and grinding etc! Once you start grinding you cant go back! Might need to arrange one of these 'stuffed deck convoys' myself when we move in a few months!! Sounds a cracking idea and my furniture would be proud to travel in such style!! Haha someone on fb page was selling a kit off a aerodeck so had the skirts as I'm going to just stick with standard vti front splitter,my clock is right time lol Decided I'm going to get rear windows tinted and I've got the best excuse to get it done,told the mrs that the sun earlier was blinding our 2yr old son sat in back and her answer.....yeah fine now if I'd of just asked guarantee the answer would of been no lol
